Pregnancy Alphabet

A= Announcement (When/How do you announce your pregnant to you boss, co-workers, friends?):

We tell Kelly's friends almost immediately when we move in together, however I quickly realise I haven't got many people to tell other than my brother and few of his friends at Med.

B= Baby Predictions (Who will the baby be more like?):

We both think the baby will be a girl, especially because I keep having a dream that the baby will be a girl.

C= Cravings (What cravings do you have? ):

Pickles and pickle juice, so Kelly makes sure that we are always stocked up.

D= Due Date (When is the Due date?):

Due date is the 7th April.

E= Emergencies (How do they act when something happens during the pregnancy?):

During the first few months of pregnancy, my morning sickness is that bad I end up in Med being dehydrated. Kelly is worried about me and the baby the whole time, but once I'm given antisickness medication Kelly relaxes, but he wants me to take things easy.

F= Falling (How do they react you falling or about to fall?):

Annoyingly I roll off the couch when I fell asleep. Kelly wants me to go to Med to make sure I'm ok, but instead I ring Connor to come over to make sure me and the baby are ok.

G= Gender(s) (What gender do they want the baby to be?):

I can see Kelly being a girls dad so I kinda would like for him to have that opportunity. We've decided that we will find out gender as soon as possible.

H= Hands (Do they like to place their hands on your tummy? Do you place your hands on your tummy?):

At first Kelly was a little nervous about touching me. However as we have been getting to know each other more and more and my bump starts to grow Kelly will place his hands on my tummy, although I have to keep telling him that he doesn't need to ask me.

I= Illness (How do they react when you get sick?):

I got food poisoning while being 4 months pregnant. My morning sickness had just stopped and now I'm throwing up again. As food poisoning is very serious Kelly understandably gets worried and takes me to Med to get checked over. We now just have to weary of having the baby earlier.

J= Job (Do you stay at work? Are you allowed to stay at work?):

No since my dad fired me. Boden has said I can come over and do desk work if I'd like, so part time I go to the firehouse.

K= Kisses (Do they like kissing your bump?):

No. Kelly doesn't feel comfortable doing that since we aren't dating.

L= Life (How has life changed while your pregnant?):

So much. I no longer have a dad or sister. Thankfully I have Connor who is very supportive, well he is now after wanting to murder Kelly. My new family at 51 are amazing, always checking on me, just as excited to meet the little one.

M= Movement (How do they react to feeling the baby move? How do they react to the sight of the baby kicking?):

Kelly is amazed, speechless the first time he feels the moving. Even more so when he finally sees the baby kick me, although he has to ask me if it hurts.

N= Nesting (Do you start nesting? When do you start nesting?):

Yes. I start nesting coming to the end of the pregnancy. The amount of times I redo the babies room it's ridiculous. Kelly is getting a little fed up that the crib keeps changing around the room.

O= Outfits (When do you start buying maternity clothes? When do you start buying outfits for the baby?):

Kelly takes me shopping straight away and lets me get what I want. I don't get to much not wanting to spend to much money. It's only going to be a few months of wearing these clothes so no point in going crazy.

P= Parents (Do they give advice? Is it good advice?):

No. We don't get any advice.

Q= Questions (Do they ask the midwife a lot of questions. Do they keep asking if your ok?):

Yes. Especially whenever he's worried about something. If he's not asking the midwife he's googling.

R= Risk (Is there any risks during the pregnancy?):

After the food poisoning we have a risk of a stillborn or early delivery, but everything has been going well.

S= Sickness (Do they you have much morning sickness? When does it start? When does it stop?):

From about 3 weeks pregnant until about 3 1/2 months pregnant.

T= Talking to the Baby (Do they talk to the bump? Do you talk to the bump?):

Yes from the moment Kelly found out I was pregnant he always talked to the bump. It took a little longer for me to.

U= Upset (How do they act when your upset? Why do you cry over most?)

Kelly doesn't really know what to do, so asks me what I want. Most of the time I just need a hug. I cry mostly because of my dad and sister.

V= Vision as in Supervision (Do they keep a close eye on you? Do they make sure someone's always with you?):

He doesn't hover which is great. He trusts me to tell him if somethings wrong, and as we get to know each other more and more, he starts to learn when something isn't right with me.

W= What's the plan? (What is the birthing plan?):

Natural birth with just gas and air.

X= Xray or Ultrasound (How do they react to seeing an x-ray of the baby. Do they tear up when they see the ultrasound?):

Kelly just cant believe that this is happening. When he sees the ultrasound he's over the moon. Even more so when he hears we're having twins. The babies heartbeats are music to our ears.

Y= Yearning (How do they truly feel about having a child? Do they feel as though they are ready for a baby?):

Kelly was going to have a baby with Shay so he's excited for us to be having twins, although he was very shocked at first, he would come round to the idea quicker than I did.

Z= ZZZ (How much sleep do they get during the pregnancy? How much sleep do you get?):

We both sleep pretty good. I'm just tried a lot so I can fall asleep anywhere anytime.
