A= Aftercare After Birth (How they act after you finish giving birth?):

Kelly is very attentive. He fusses over me making sure I'm ok and that the babies are ok. He just keeps kissing my head and smiling with happiness. He's a natural with the babies.

B= Baby (Who is the baby more like? The baby's personality?):

One of the babies had Kelly's nose and face shape, the other looks more like me.

C= Care Taking (Who takes care of the baby more? Do you have someone else take care of the child?):

We both take turns looking after them because twins are hard work. I feed one baby while Kelly changes the others nappy then we swap the babies over. We quickly fell into a routine that works for us both and one that works well for the babies.

D= Delivery (How they act when you are in labor, do they stay in the room or outside the room?):

When we arrive at the hospital Kelly is freaked out, but with the reassurance of my brother he calms down. He stays by my side the whole time, not letting go of my hand once. He lets me squeeze as hand as I like and doesn't complain once.

E= Emergencies (How do they act when something happens to the baby? If something happens during labor how do they react?):

Labour and delivery goes well, until we realise on of the babies doesn't cry straight away which scares the crap out of both Kelly and I. After a few tests we find out baby B is deaf. While I sit in a state of shock Kelly is asking if it's permanent and if the baby is healthy. Hearing that baby B is healthy Kelly and I know that we will still love them just as much as their sibling. Kelly and I talk about whether we want baby to have cochlear implants or if we will just do ASL.
We end up deciding on doing both, that way as baby gets older they can chose their preferred communication.

F= Friends/Family (Who visits you in the hospital?):

Clair does come to the hospital but doesn't stay long or even hold either of the babies. Connor of course comes to visit and declares he will be the best uncle ever. The whole firehouse come to visit so does Jay and of course most of Med.

G= Gender(s) (What do you have?):

We have a baby girl named Hattie, who is deaf  and a baby boy named Oscar.

H= Hair Color (What hair color does the baby inherit):

Hattie looking more like Kelly has his hair colour while Oscar's hair colour is more like mine. Both have the same coloured eyes as me.

I= Illness (How do they react when the baby gets sick for the first time? How about when the baby is ill for a while?):

3 months after their birth we talk to Will about Hattie having a cochlear implant. After their first birthday she has the surgery which makes Kelly extremely nervous. The whole time he's pacing back and forth, just wanting Hattie back in his arms. After the surgery we have different things we have to do to keep infections out which Kelly takes very seriously.

J= Job (When do you go back to work?):

After a year I decide to do what I always wanted to do and that's becoming a firefighter. Kelly and the rest of 51 helps me. Boden even pulls a few strings and gets me on truck 81.

K= Kisses (Do they kiss the baby?):

Yes. Kelly is always kissing both babies all over their face making them giggle.

L= Love (Do they fall in love with the baby right away? What do they love the most about the baby?):

Kelly fell in love as soon as I found out I was pregnant.
