A= Announcement (When/How do you announce your pregnant to you boss, co-workers, friends?):

Jay and I have to tell Voight straight away because of the job and because I was passing out a lot, but as we work with a bunch of detectives they all worked it out. We told my parents not long after finding out an d of course at the same time we told Will. We didn't do anything special to announce the pregnancy, we just told people verbally.

B= Baby Predictions (Who will they look like?):

Jay thinks the baby will be a girl who looks a lot like me. I had a dream that the baby was a boy, who looks like Jay, but who's to say that a dream will tell me what gender the baby will be.

C= Cravings (What cravings do you have?):

I've not really had cravings thankfully. I'm just hungry all of the time.

D= Due Date (When is the Due date?):

7th June.

E= Emergencies (How do they act when something happens during the pregnancy?):

Thankfully there were no emergencies after the dizziness and passing out, but during that time Jay was so worried that he wouldn't leave me alone at all.

F= Falling (How do they react you falling or about to fall?):

As Jay was around me all of the time he was always there to help me to the floor carefully. Early on in the pregnancy though I was stood on a stool and lost my footing making me fall and hurting my hip. Of course Jay wanted to take me to Med to get checked out and although I argued that I was ok, he would have none of it.

G= Gender(s) (What gender do they want the baby to be?):

Both Jay and I don't care as long as the baby is happy and healthy.

H= Hands (Do they like to place their hands on your tummy? Do you place your hands on your tummy?):

Yes and yes. Jay was placing his hands on my stomach before I even got a bump. I however didn't notice that I would rub my tummy until later on in my pregnancy when I start to get a bump.

I= Illness (How do they react when you get sick?):

When I got a cold while pregnant Jay was very cautious about what mediations I can and can't have. He would ring up Will with a bunch of questions asking if me and the baby will be ok.

J= Job (Do you stay at work? Are you allowed to stay at work?):

Although I can't go and work actively on cases, I decided to stay and do paperwork right up until a few weeks before I have the baby. Jay stays at work right up until I have the baby.

K= Kisses (Do they like kissing your bump?):

Yes. Just like he would place his hands on my none existent bump he would also place kisses on my flat tummy.

L= Life (How has life changed while your pregnant?):

The only thing that's change it how active I am. Due to the job I was very active, on my feet a lot so sitting at a desk I have found to be very boring.

M= Movement (How do they react to feeling the baby move? How do they react to the sight of the baby kicking?):

The first time I felt the baby move I didn't realise it was the baby as it felt like my tummy was rumbling. When I properly felt the baby kick for the first time I made sure Jay got to experience it as well. He would get so excited to feel the baby move but when it came to seeing the baby moving and kicking it kinda freaked me out a little, however Jay was amazed.

N= Nesting (Do you start nesting? When do you start nesting?):

I started nesting at 7 months pregnant. Moving things around, checking dates on things and cleaning everything. Jay would tell me off a lot for not resting.

O= Outfits (When do you start buying maternity clothes? When do you start buying outfits for the baby?):

For as long as I can I just wear oversized cloths, but once leggings stopped fitting at about 6 months pregnant I had to buy maternity jeans and leggings. I stole Jays tops for a while but once they stopped fitting I just bought cheep cloths knowing that I won't be wearing maternity clothes for long.

P= Parents (When do you tell your/their parent/s. Do they give advice? Is it good advice?):

I was about 2 months pregnant when we told my parents. My mum gives me some good advice which was to not listen to others tell me how to look after my baby. If I want advice then I'll ask for it.

Q= Questions (Do they ask the midwife a lot of questions?):

Whenever I have appointments Jay is always asking how the baby is doing, if everything's ok. He would often ring Natalie with any questions he has even if it's midnight.

R= Risk (Is there any risks during the pregnancy?):

After the passing out and dizziness it was smooth sailing.

S= Sickness (Do they you have much morning sickness? When does it start? When does it stop?):

Only a little morning sickness but it only lasted a month so when I hit 3 months pregnant I felt pretty good.

T= Talking to the Baby (Do they talk to the bump? Do you talk to the bump?):

Yes. We both talk to the baby before I even got a bump, before their ear had even developed. Jay often tells the baby how much he or she is loved already but so many people.

U= Upset (How do they act when your upset? Why do you cry over most?)

Jay just wants me to be happy, so if he sees me upset he tries to cheer me up with all my favourite things. If none of that worked he will let me cry on his shoulder until I was ready to talk.
I mainly would cry over the silliest things, like breaking a plate or puppies playing together.

V= Vision as in Supervision (Do they keep a close eye on you? Do they make sure someone's always with you?):

Oh 100%. He won't let me be alone, if he can't be watching me then it's someone else like Erin or Will.

W= What's the plan? (What is the birthing plan?):

Natural hospital birth with little drugs as possible.

X= Xray or Ultrasound (How do they react to seeing an x-ray of the baby. Do they tear up when they see the ultrasound?):

Jay was sure what he was looking at when we went to the first ultrasound, but once we heard the babies heart beat for the first time we both cried with happiness.

Y= Yearning (How do they truly feel about having a child? Do they feel as though they are ready for a baby?):

At first Jay think we're ready for the baby, but as the months pass we both get more nervous and scared about having a baby to look after.

Z= ZZZ (How much sleep do they get during the pregnancy? How much sleep do you get?):

Not a lot. I can't get comfortable so while I'm tossing and turning, Jay is also awake. I try not to wake him up because of work. I have to have at least 1 nap a day because I am just not sleeping at night.
