Since this whole thing with Matt and Voight I've been getting really nervous, nervous for Ella and I
"Antonio's going to help us"
"Matt I don't think your understanding. The house isn't safe for Ella. Look Matt I love you but until this blows over we're going to stay with Gabby" I say as I'm packing Ella's bag
"YN you can't leave. We're good again and now your taking my daughter"
"Im not taking her away Matt. We're not splitting up, but I'm scared that one of us is going to get hurt. Voight pulled me over saying I ran a stop sign which I didn't, Ella was in the car Matt. It was a threat. I just need to know Ella's safe"
"I know. I know. Im sorry. I promise this will be over" Matt pulls me into him kissing my forehead
"Im just so scared"

"So you and Matt are on a break?"
"No. It's just with all of this Voight stuff. Im just scared Kelly. What if Ella gets hurt because of this"
"Do you want Matt to retract his statement"
"No. It's to late to do that anyway" my phone rings, but I don't recognise the number straight away
"Hello? What? Oh god.....yeah I'll be there in 10"
"Who was that?" Kelly asks
"The hospital. Matts been hurt. Can you watch Ella for me?" I whisper so Ella doesn't hear
"Sure"
"Thanks" I get up off the couch and walk over to Ella who's sat on the floor playing with some toy cars
"Hey Ella. Momma has to pop out for a little bit, but uncle Kelly is going to look after you. Ok?"
"Ok momma, but where are you going?"
"I just need to go and see someone. I won't be long" I kiss her on the head before leaving Kelly's and driving to the hospital.

"There's no cracked ribs. You're next in line
for the CT scam" Dr Thomas walks in with the X-ray results while I stand with Antoni nervously biting my nails "can you sit up for me?"
"Yeah" Matt groans. I can see the bruise on his side already forming
"I need you to take some deep breaths, okay?" I look out if the window and see Herrmann, Otis, Mouch and my dad. Dad walks in and over to me giving me a hug
"Wheres Ella?"
"With Kelly" I tell him
"Sounds clear that's good"
"Thanks Hallie" I give her a small smile
"Just doing my job. You can lay back now Matt" Hallie helps Matt to lie down
"Casey, how are you?" Dad asks
"Sore"
"So no faces on this guys? Markings? Anything distinguishable?" Antonio asks
"One of them had a tattoo. Forearm. Left... oh god maybe right" Matt starts to get upset. I take his hand in mine and give it a squeeze
"Antonio maybe come back a little later" I tell him
"Alright. Rest for a few"
"This was Voight wasn't it?" I ask looking at Matt "not him directly, but he orchestrated this"
"Matt. Believe ne, I know what you're going through and I know what youre thinking. But we are gonna figure out how to do this the right way. You've got a daughter and a wife so don't you dare do anything to land yourself in jail. Do you hear me?"
"Yeah" dad walks out to talk more to Antonio while I stay in the room with Matt
"I can't sit back and take it"
"I know but he wants you to be the bad guy. He wants you do make a bad move and then pin something else on you. Babe I don't want to lose you so please for me, for Ella just let Antonio deal with this"
"I think you were right to move out with Ella for now. Keep her safe"
"I love you Matt. Just be careful"
"I will. I love you too"

"Momma when can I see daddy?" Ella asks as I place some food in front of her. I look at Kelly for some support but I don't get any help off him
"Errm soon"
"Are you and daddy mad at each other again? Like when uncle Andy died. Like uncle Kelly is mad at daddy?"
"No baby. We're not mad at each other. Promise"
"Then why are we living here not at home?"
"Because...."
"Because the bath is leaking and you missy need to have warm baths"
"Then why isn't daddy here?"
"Wow your asking a lot of questions tonight Ella. Daddy has lots of paper work to do and doesn't want to keep you or momma awake. It will be over soon"
"Ok" Ella carries on eating her dinner like nothings wrong
"Thank you" I quietly say "I just don't know what to tell her"
"It's ok. Things will be ok YN" Kelly gives me a little hug
"I just want thinks your be ok again. I want us to feel safe again"
