Kelly- A New Baby Pt3

Harper didn't warm up the the idea of a new baby and now here I am in the nursery sat on a rocking chair that Kelly had built feeding are new born boy Noah and trying to get him to sleep
"Mommy come and play" Harper walks into the nursery holding her dolls
"I can't at the moment baby. Maybe in a bit when Noah is asleep"
"Ughhh" Harper groans "when will daddy be home?"
"Later. He's working late today so you will probably be asleep when he comes home. I'll hopefully be asleep when he comes home"
"But I want daddy!"
"I know you do, I want him home as well. He has tomorrow off and will be spending all day with us and all day Sunday"
"But I want him now!" Harper shouts stomping her foot. Something she's been doing a lot recently
"Harper please don't shout. I'm trying to get Noah to sleep"
"Stupid Noah" she mutters and crosses her arms
"I know your struggling with the baby but if you let me get him to sleep then we can play"
"I hate Noah!" she shouts again and runs out of the nursery. I'm exhausted, physically and emotionally.
Once Noah is asleep I phone up April talking about Harpers behaviour and how I'm struggling. She says she will speak to Dr Charles for me. See if he can help us in anyway.

The next day Kelly, Harper and I are in the living  room playing. Noah is in his bassinet asleep. Were all sat on the floor playing with Harper playing with her dolls
"Mommy you can be the bad guy"
"Gee thanks"
"I'll be uncle Jay and arrest you. Daddy can be uncle Matt and take Noah away" here we go again
"Harper" I give her a warning but she ignores me. Noah then starts to wake up and whimper
"I'll get him" Kelly says getting up
"No!" Harper shouts "no more Noah. Send him back"
"Harper come on" I sigh
"No! You don't love me anymore so I hate him"
"Baby of course we love you. When you were a baby I had to feed you and change you"
"Why don't you come and help me change him?" Kelly asks
"No!" Harper stamps her foot
"Harper that's enough now" I sternly say as Kelly picks Noah up
"Daddy no!" she shouts
"Harper stop!" he now raises his voice at her. Something he's never really done before "mommy said enough. Noah lives here now so you can either carry on hating him or you can learn to accept him and maybe even love him"
"But daddy your mine not his"
"No Harper. We both love you, but your not the baby anymore so you need to be a big girl now" and with that Kelly walks away with Noah to change him. Harper runs to me and hugs my waist. I stroke Harpers hair as she sniffles into my dress
"I know it's hard, but you've got to stop stomping your feet and shouting. I need your help by being a good girl and doing as you've been told"
"I'm sorry mommy. I don't like daddy shouting at me"
"Neither do I. Instead of shouting and stamping your feet, maybe you should use your words and tell us how your feeling" Kelly makes his way downstairs with Noah in his arms "how about tomorrow we all go out for the day? and you can help me push the stroller?"
"Ok mommy"
"So no more stamping your feet" Kelly tells his daughter
"Ok" she says looking sad
"And when I'm not here you need to help mommy" Harper gives a little nod then apologises. Hopeful this is the turning point for Harper and she will be able to get along with her brother.
