Will- Fake Boyfriend

I'm sat at Mollys finishing off my beer. Today has been a long tuff day at work. It was a difficult case that Jay and I had to do, but he gets to go home with Hailey and help each other through said tuff case, but me? I'm on my own. So to not be alone for so long I came to Mollys for a drink
"What's a pretty girl like you doing here?"
"Hey man look I'm really not in the mood" I reply "Herrmann can I get another one" I nod towards the empty beer bottle
"Sure"
"Come on, you look like you need a bit of fun" the man moves closer to me
"I wouldn't get any closer if I was you. Leave her alone" Herrmann says placing a new beer bottle in front of me
"Thanks" I say ignoring the man next to me
"From that face you look like you've not had any good dick for a while"
"Jesus Christ" I sigh getting more and more annoyed, but I then feel an arm around my shoulder
"Hey baby" I look up to see Will who winks at me telling me to play along "who's this?" he nods towards the man
"Fuck knows, but has been asking me to leave with him even when I said no, which is harassment"
"Who's this clown"
"I'm her boyfriend, so I suggest you leave her alone or else"
"Or else what?"
"Or else I'll arrest your ass for harassment"
"You can't arrest me"
"She's a cop so yeah she can" Herrmann says
"Fine" the man gets up and leaves
"Thanks" Will sits down next to me
"You good?"
"Yeah just had a bad case, then that didn't help" Matt looks over is shoulder to the man who's still staring
"I know you can handle yourself, but sometimes you just need a little help and that's ok. He's watching you still" Will takes my hand in his "finish your drink and then I'll take you home"
"Of how chivalrous of you"
"Well I am your fake boyfriend for the night" Will smiles making me laugh a little.

That night will and I have a few drinks and he takes me home which he said he would. He even walks me to to my front door
"Thank you again"
"Don't worry about it" I give Will a peck on the cheek, he looks at me shocked
"What was that for"
"Well usually a girlfriend would kiss their boyfriends lips, but since you were my fake boyfriend I thought you at least deserved a kiss on the cheek"
"Well thank you" he smiles "I'll text you tomorrow, see how your doing"
"Goodnight Will"
"Night"
