Kelly- I'd Drop Everything

Can't believe how many requests I've been getting over on tumblr. Hope you enjoy another one.
Trigger warning- blood

YN and Kelly have been dating for a while now and they recently moved in together. Kelly is very protective of YN, wanting to make sure she is ok always. She only has to get a paper cut and he basically becomes a doctor, mainly because YN faints at the sight of blood, even if it's her own.

Today YN is at home cleaning while Kelly is at work. YN's favourite music blaring throughout the house as she dances around the kitchen. YN she sticks her hand in the warm soapy water in sink to clean the cups and plates left from the night before and this morning when the feeling of burning runs across her hand. Quickly lifting her hand out of the water she notices blood trickle down her arm. Immediately YN's stomach churns and she begins to feel lightheaded. Grabbing the tea towel next to her she wraps her hand up as best she can before grabbing hold of her phone and calling the first person to come to her mind, Kelly.

Kelly was eating a sandwich when the call came through. Everyone notices the smile that creeps on to his face
"The missus calling?" Capp smirks
"Shut up" Kelly can't help but keep his smile on his face as he answers the call "hey baby what's up?"
"Kel" immediately his smile drops hearing the panic in his girlfriends voice
"Baby what's wrong what's happened?"
"I cut my hand... Kelly the blood there's a lot of blood" before YN could even tell him what happened he was already on his feet knowing that she hates blood
"Ok ok I'll be home in 5 minutes. Breath ok can you do that?" Kelly leaves the firehouse, not saying a word to anyone, he gets into his car and starts up the engine
"Hurts Kel" YN whimpers
"I know I know but I want you to lie down on the couch ok and keep your arm in the air ok?"
"Ok"

Kelly rushes through the door to find his girlfriend lying on the couch crying
"I'm here now. Let me look" gently Kelly takes the tea towel, now soaked with blood, from YNs hand "ok I'm gonna get the first aid kit" he says before walking off.
Quickly he returns with the green bag, unzipping it he takes out the alcohol wipes "ok this is gonna sting a little. Take a deep breath ok" YN does as Kelly asks. Whimpering at the sting the alcohol caused, Kelly does his best to sooth her with gentle words "ok it's not to bad, the water probably made it look worse that it is. I'll bandage it up and then we can get you something to eat and drink ok?" Kelly does this as gently and quickly as he can.

Once done he helps YN sit up slowly before going to get her a drink and some cookies go eat
"Thanks" YN mutters quietly "I feel so stupid"
"Don't. It's ok. I best phone Boden, let him know I'm staying home for the rest of the day, hell I haven't even told him I left"
"Kel" YN sighs "you should have... Damn I shouldn't have rang you"
"Of course you should have. I didn't need to come home to my girlfriend passed out on the floor" he chuckles
"But you left work for a small cut"
"YN, I'd drop everything if you asked me to. I'll be back in a bit" Kelly walks off into the kitchen to phone Boden
"Severide where the hell are you?"
"Sorry chief. YN cut her hand, had to come home you know how she is with blood" Kelly hears Boden sigh
"How is she?"
"Shaken up, I've given her something to eat and drink, but I wouldn't be surprised if she feel sick for the rest of the day. I need to take the rest of the day off, I hope you understand"
"Of course I can, send her our love"'
"Will do thanks" Kelly hangs up the phone walking back to the living room to find YN lying back on couch "how you feeling?"
"Tired" YM mumbles "feel a little sick"
"Have a nap. You'll feel better then" Kelly places a kiss on the head "I'll make you some dinner for later" YN nods her head a little closing her eyes. She feels a blanket being placed over her before falling asleep.
