Today is the day I'm going ask YN to marry me. We've been together now for 3 years and I know she's the one I want to spend the rest of my life with her. Right now YNs girl friends have taken her out shopping, while I've got the rest of our friends here helping me set Mollys up. After hours of setting up Erin texts me to let me know they are on their way "Have you got the ring?" I ask Will. I gave him the ring to keep it safe and away from YN so she didn't accidentally find it and ruin the surprise "Uh yeah" he digs the small box out of his pocket "She's 5 minutes out" Severide says looking at his phone. Nervously I stand by the twinkling lights and wait for the love of my life to arrive.

YN's POV
"Ok put this on" Erin gives me a blindfold as we pull up to Mollys "Why?" I chuckle "Just do it" Kim says "You know if Jay is trying to hide something he's not doing a good job" I place the blindfold over my eyes "But do you know what he's got planned?" I hear Natalie ask "I might have a guess" Jay and I have been talking about getting married one day so I have a feeling he's probably going to propose. Either that or I'm about to be kidnapped "if it was just a cute date he wouldn't have me distracted all day and then blindfolded. He's dating a detective. Also Will may have let it slip" "Damn it Will" Nat groans "At least act surprised" Gabby tells me "Ok ok" I hold my hands up as I get out of the car. The girls guide me into the bar and when we finally stop someone takes the blindfold off. I have to blink a few times before I can see properly. Jay is stood in front of me smiling "Hi" I say to him smiling back "YN. You are the most beautiful, kind, sexy woman I have ever laid eyes on. I know you probably already know what's about to happen so..." Jay gets down on his knee and opens up the little box "YN YMN YLN will you make me the happiest man alive, and marry me" even though I was expecting this, I still have tears in my eyes. I place my hands on either side of Jays face and lean down and kiss his lips "Of course I will" I kiss him again before Jay takes my left hand in his and he slips the ring on my finger, a perfect fit.

Jay and I get to celebrate with all of our friends and my family, who absolutely love Jay. After celebrating we go back to our home "After we're married I think we should move to a bigger house" I tell Jay as we walk into our bedroom "I want us to have a baby as soon as we're married" "So we try on our honeymoon?" Jay smirks "Uh huh" I smile back nodding my head. I wrap my arms around Jays neck and kiss his lips "I think we should practice" "Do you?" I raise an eyebrow as Jay walks us back to the bed "Oh I do and we need to celebrate" "We celebrated earlier" "Not the way I wanted" "Oh?"
Jay and I celebrate that night a few times. I can't wait to marry this man and call him my husband. I can't wait to spend everyday with the man I love and create a family with him.
