Chapter 45

Erika POV
I felt a pain in my jaw waking me up. My vision was dizzy and I was recalling the last thing I had seen. Joe and his men were chasing after us. Then they found us and started beating Will. "Then...Then... Joe hit me" I stuttered. That means...

"No, no, no, no" I mumbled shaking my head. I looked around and we were back where we started. I wasn't in chains but the pain in my jaw was excruciating.

"Ah,you're awake" I heard Joe as he spoke coming in. "You...You hit me" I said shocked. "I didn't want to but you just keep doing things that piss me off. I've been patient for all these years and I'm done" he growled.

"You have two options. Either come with me or I will kill William" he spoke. My breathed hitched as I held the floor. I slowly looked up at him "You can't do this to me. Not again" I screamed. "BRING HIM IN" Joe yelled.

Two guards came in dragging Will's body which was covered in bruises and blood. I covered my mouth gasping at the sight in front of me. "Okay...okay" I mumbled. "I'm sorry, my love. I can't hear you" Joe smiled looking at Will.

"Don't...Erika... I will...be. Okay," Will mumbled while his voice cracked in pain. Joe pulled out his gun standing over Will's body. "CHOOSE" Joe yelled pointing the gun. I sobbed "Please...I'm sorry I didn't notice how you felt but you can't force someone to fall for you. So..... please" I looked into Joe's eyes.

"Fine, since you can't choose. I will choose for you. You can either watch me kill him or close your eyes, on the count of three he's dead, one".
"Joe...I will-"

Joe POV
I continued counting ignoring Erica's pleas for me to stop. Will tried one hand up trying to block the gun pointing at him. He looked at Erica with tears in his eyes. His fate was determined the first time he set his gaze on my woman.

"Two"
"Please don't do this" Erika cried.
"Three"
BANG

Erika POV
I couldn't stop him. He went too far. He did it to me again. He killed someone I loved. I told him I would go with him but he killed Will anyway.

"NOOOO" I screamed as I watch the life vanish from Will's eyes. Joe huffed in frustration from my reaction. He cussed yelling for the two guards to get out. Tears stream down my face. I crawled over to him holding Will's head in my arms. "I'm so sorry. I'm so, so sorry". I bury my face into his neck. I should have never talked to you."I'm tired of this. Get away from him" Joe pulled me up by one arm from Will's lifeless body. "No, no, no! Please, let me stay with him"I sobbed.

I frailed my arms trying to get out of Joe's grip but he was too strong. "Clean this up," Joe said letting the five men into the room before Joe carried me out.

Joe POV
After, I had got Erika out of the cabin. I threw her into the car. She tried opening the door but I had already locked it. "Do want Luna to be next"? Erika stopped moving and looked at me. She sat back in her seat shaking in fear shaking her head. "I don't want to hurt the people you love but from now on you will listen" I held the steering wheel.

"You will learn to love me. I will give you everything you need and want. No need to work. I want us to be just as happy as we before when we lived in our loft together. Watching movies. Me cooking and taking care of you" I smiled.

"Okay," I looked at Erika who was looking in forward. "I want you to answer me" I gritted. "Yes," she said while looking at me with tears in her eyes. I kissed her cheek and started the car.

"Off to our home," I thought.

Taylor POV
"I'm worried about Erika. It's been three days and I haven't been able to talk to her" I spoke on the phone to Tyler. "She probably has a weekend of fun with William. Stop worrying" he says. "You're right" I muttered while the hairs on my neck stood up.

Erika POV
I kept close to the door scared of what Joe would do next. We drove to the Lombardi mansion. Joe got out and came around opening my door. I fought to stay in the car but Joe just pulled me by the arm yanking me out.
Many of his men looked at me. I could tell they pityed me but wouldn't dare say anything. I followed behind Joe as going up the stairs into the mansion. Right at the door Jason was standing bewildered at the sight of me.

"What is going-". "Don't say another word" Joe side eyed. Joe continues dragging me upstairs and into his old room. Once we were inside he locked the door and stood in front. I felt my wrist had begun to bruise. I looked around to see the room the same. A dark black theme to it that looked modern.

"What are you going to do now? Your mom and dad won't stand for this. Do they know what you do? You gangster" I spat. Joe smirked stepping toward me "sometimes you could be so dumb, love. We're the Lombardi's! The head of the mafia!" Joe cackled.

My eyes went wide and I looked at Joe in horror. "Now that you know everything it's time for your punishment" he smiled.
