A Mortal Instrument Fanfic

Gone... Again

Jace found himself in the library cursing.

"What's wrong with you?" Alec asked and when Jace looked up he was met by Alec and Magnus looking through some old looking spell books

"I had a fight with Clary" he said and felt like he wanted to cry. All the feeling he had built up inside of him the past days had been too much so when Clary had started to ask question about her death he had snapped, snapped at her

"What about?" Magnus asked, he loved gossip

"She asked me if she would die and I snapped" he admitted and told them the event in her bedroom. They were both looking at him

"You should go back and talk to her" Alec suddenly said and his eyes said 'don't you dare do different'. Jace nodded his head and started walking back when he reach the door of the library it was a high scream echoing through the institute and followed by that scream was another, a more human and a scream they all would recognize now, Jace took one glance back and both Magnus and Alec was running toward him. All three of them took off, running into the directions of Clary's room

When they entered her bedroom Jace was holding his breath. Everything was a mess, it was glass laying across the whole floor, the windows was broken, paper and small object was trashed around the room like they had got wings and was flying and then just dropped dead. Jace searched the room with his eyes but he saw everything without Clary. The book he had been reading earlier laid perfect in the red Victorian chair but everything else was a mess. In the middle of the room was a little puddle of dark red fluid. Blood. But his Clary was nowhere to be seen.

Magnus and Alec was standing in the doorway gaping at the mess of a room this was. And suddenly there were a clicking noise in the hallway and Izzy and Simon had shown up. Jace hadn't seen Sion since the previously morning when Clary claimed she didn't know who he was

"What the hell happened her?" Izzy demanded. They were all quit

"We heard a scream" Simon said quit

"Clary is gone" Jace breathed out for the first time, she was gone, again.

"What?" Izzy said, shock and fear evident in her voice

"I heard her scream" Simon said

"We all heard her" Izzy snapped "Where did she go? We can bring her back" she said positively

"I don't know" Jace admitted and there and then he felt hopeless. Who had taken his Clary? What where they going to do? Did she love him the way he loved her? But most important was she going to survive?
