Felix woke up the next morning feeling oddly refreshed. He skipped breakfast as usual and his sister was nowhere to be found. Just her usual note saying that she was gone for work. He put on a hoodie and black jeans and walked to school as he always did.
School went on as usual too. Jisung had insisted on sitting with Felix again. He had learned a bit of sign language in an attempt t get Felix to talk with him but it didn't work. Felix did think it was really sweet of him to learn a bit but he didn't want to get close to another just to let them down in the future.
After school it was finally time for his first full therapy session. Felix was nervous as to what the therapist would make him do but he knew it would improve him in the future. It was just someone he would see for a few months so maybe opening up wouldn't be too bad.

A knock was heard on Chans door making the male look up from the papers on his desk. He signaled whoever was behind it to come in. A cute boy peaked his head through cautiously before completely stepping in and bowing his head. Chan smiled seeing it was the male from yesterday. He was happy he returned. Most of the time when patient come in themselves they tend to not come back.
"Felix right? Come have a seat." Chan said with an inviting smile that pulled Felix in. He sat down and played with his fingers nervously. Chan observed the male for a bit before saying something again.
"How are you doing?" He asked.
"Nervous. Very nervous." Felix signed not being able to make eye contact with Chan.
"Thats completely normal. Hopefully we can get to know each other so you can feel comfortable around me. Remember I'm here to help you." Chan reassured and Felix nodded.
"So, last time we didn't get to talk at all so please, tell me a bit about yourself. Do you do anything for fun?" Chan asked.
"Not really. I used to dance but I haven't done it in years."
"I see. Favorite food?"
"Australian deserts. Reminds me of my childhood."
"Oh? Are you Australian!" Chan asked excitedly.
"Yes. Born and raised in Sydney." Felix's eyes met with the therapist for a brief moment. He thought the orders excitement was really cute. It was hard to look at him for too long though.
"Me too! So I guess I can speak English." Chan switched languages making Felix give him a small smile. It was really nice to hear his native language again from someone that wasn't his sister. Chan look note of this reaction.
"It would be nice if you did." Felix couldn't help but blush a bit.
"I'm happy we broke the ice a bit. So have you been writing in a journal?" Chan asked to move into the session.
"I did once."
"Did it help at all?"
"Yes. It felt good. Like the paper was listening to me"
"That's exactly what its supposed to be like. Anything to put your mind at ease when the thought get too much. Have you tried talking at all?"
"Yes but...nothing came out."
"That's completely normal. Your vocal cords are let's say...rusty. They need to be warmed up. You can start by humming when being talked to. Practice opening your mouth and attempting to make sounds. Little by little before fully saying words." Chan suggested.
Felix paused for a moment. He brought his hand up to his throat trying to see if he could even remember how to hum.
"Hm." A low hum came from him. It sounded more like a grunt but none the less it shocked Felix making him look at Chan with wide eyes. It was a scary feeling using his voice like that.
"Oh! I wasn't expecting you to do that so fast! Nice Felix!" Chan said giving the male a round of applause making him blush a deep red.
"Thank you. That's the most I've used my voice in so long. I wonder what it will sound like." Felix for the first time since meeting his therapist felt comfortable around him. Well not completely but moving in the right direction.
"I bet you it will sound beautiful." Chan said sweetly.
"That's all the time we have today. I'll see you tomorrow okay?" Chan said standing up to see the male off. Felix also stood up, surprised to see that the male along with being handsome was taller than him. Not a huge height difference but enough to notice there is one.
Felix flashed a quick smile at Chan before walking out, leaving Chan to his own thoughts. A sigh left his lips as a light dust of pink appeared on his cheeks.
"I'm in trouble."
