Hoodie POV
Y/n and I scrambled away from each other at the sound of her door slamming open before looking to see who it was.
"What the hell were you two doing," growled Jack.
Y/n looked at me while she scrambled for her notepad to explain, but I decided to do it for her.
"Jack, it wasn't what it looks like. We were playing around since she needed some cheering up. You caught us trying to catch our breath."
"In that fucking position!"
"Ok, Jack I know the position looked suggestive, but it wasn't like that man!"
Jack growled at me and was starting to move closer to me, but Y/n got in between us with her notepad.
'Jack it really wasn't what it looked like. I was upset and was cheering me up.'
"Y/n, you really think I'll believe that!"
'Why does it matter what I and he do? I don't need you treating me like a child!'
"You're my little sister!"
'You only found out this week! I grew up without a big brother and now you're forcing it on me!'
I sigh and said "Jack, she isn't a little kid. You are forcing her to see you as an older sibling but she needs time to adjust to all of these changes."
"Stay out of this Hoodie," Jack roared at me.
'Get out Jack,' Y/n wrote as she shoves Jack out of the room before slamming the door and locking it.
"I'm sorry about that Y/n."
She smiles at me and goes back to the bed to lay down. I sigh knowing that deep down she isn't processing this as well as Jack hopes. The idiot went and made it more difficult for her to accept the fact she isn't an only child.
"Y/n, are you ok?"
She nods and turns onto her side to look at me. She holds her hand out to show she wanted me to come to lay with her.
"You want me to lay down with you? Even after what just happened?"
She nods before sitting up to write 'Do you not feel comfortable? We're not doing anything wrong. We're good friends, not lovers.'
I chuckled "You are very straightforward. Move over, you're hogging the bed."
She scoots over and I lay beside her. She hugs my arm before drifting off to sleep. I smile at her sleeping figure before falling asleep myself.
Jack POV
I can't believe she and Hoodie are flirting! They think I'm stupid but I'm not! There's something going on between them. Why is she being like this? I'm trying to protect her.
"J-Jack, You g-good," Toby asked.
"Hoodie is after my sister! She is letting him get too close! She got mad at me for getting upset at them 'cause I found them in a suspicious position!"
"O-oh, yeah I-I s-saw that, but Hoodie i-isn't like t-t-that."
"He is making moves on my sister Toby!"
"He h-helping her J-jack."
"With what?"
"S-she needs h-h-help adjusting. S-she needs an f-friend to help h-her. T-that what Hoodie i-is doing."
I sat there stunned. I didn't think of that. Of course, this is a lot for her to take in. I'm such an idiot. I know Hoodie wouldn't try to hook up with my sister!
"You're right Toby! You aren't as stupid as we thought you were! Damnit I lost the bet."
I owe Ben money now. I got up and walked out of the kitchen to go give Ben his money.
"W-wait, what b-bet? Jack!"
