CHAPTER 11: Mr. and Mrs. Santillian

Her POV

SIGHING. I have been sighing for quite a few times now. Hindi ko rin alam kung bakit bigla nalang akong nakaramdam ng kaba and I don't even know why I'm nervous.

Sighing for the ninth time I closed my eyes as I try to calm my nerves. I look at my door when it suddenly opened and there I saw Rawwel along with the two one year old kids.

"They said that they misses their mother." Maliit ang ngiting saad niya sa akin habang buhat ang isa at hawak naman sa kanang kamay ang isa. I smiled at Fhilicx who tilted his head while looking at me.

If ever these two will be a full grown men, people will only say that we look like siblings and not as mother and sons. "Hi Fhilicx." I greeted him which made him smile and walk to me. "Mama!" He exclaimed then hugged my lower body.

My babies first ever word is 'mama' which obviously made their father frown. Well, siya kasi ang madalas na nag-aalaga sa dalawa since busy rin si Lilith sa ibang gawain niya. Lilith is one of my trusted maid in this palace. Siya ang pumalit na mayordoma nang magresign ang nauna. She's now working alongside Leonard as our trusted worker.

I squat down to level his height and give him lots and lots of kisses which made him giggle. Tumingin ako sa likod ko kung nasaan pumunta ang isa at nakita si Phinicxxe na pilit inaabot ang isa sa mga papel na nasa lamesa.

"Phinicxxe, what are you doing?" Tanong ko sa anak ko na tumingin lang sa akin ng inosente at itinuloy ang kung ano man ang balak niya. When I walk towards him I saw that he was actually reaching for a envelope that I didn't notice.

Frowning, I reached for the piece of paper laying above my desk and read what's inside of it. Shocked, I looked at my husband who's giving me a curious look.

"What is it?" Tanong niya but I quickly ran out of the room and just left him in there along with the two children. Why now!? I wasn't ready to fully talk to them yet!

‘Dear our beloved empress Amelianna,

We would like to invite you on tonight's dinner with the rest of our family, I'm sure Rawwel which is your husband already know of this but please do inform him still. We would be happy if you showed up with your children.

His POV

CURIOUS, I followed my empress to where she is going and found myself in her room along with Leonard who have a lot of dresses in his arms.

"What's happening?" Tanong ko kay Leonard pero pati siya ay tila walang kaalam-alam sa kung ano ang nangyayari sa kamahalan. "Hinila nalang niya ako bigla at basta nalang naghalungkat sa closet niya at eto nga ang nangyari." Pagpapaliwanag niya na mas lalong ikinagulo ng utak ko.

"Your majesty, bakit parang nagmamadali ka ata?" Tanong ko nang makalapit sa pwesto niya at nakita siyang tila balisa sa pagpili ng mga dresses niya. She look at me unamused but I can see in her eyes that she's panicking. "Hindi mo ba talaga alam o nagmamaang-maangan ka lang? Your family is going to hold a family dinner with everyone and yet you seem to be unfazed by it!" Histerikal na saad niya na nagpakurap sa akin.

Oh, so ngayong gabi pala magaganap ‘yon?

"Don't be too dramatic your highness, hindi naman nangangagat ang pamilya ko." Pagpapakalma ko sa kaniya pero sinamaan niya lang ako ng tingin at pinalayas pa ako sa kwarto niya.
