Chapter 13: meeting

His POV

I FIXED MY CLOTHES and went into my carriage but I was blocked by two little kids. "Where are you going papa?" Fhilicx ask while holding his brother's right hand and tilting his head. I smiled because he looks like a curious little puppy with the way he tilt his head sideway.

"I'm just going out for a while, take care of mama for me since she's a little sick." Paalam ko at ginulo muna ang buhok nila bago naglakad palayo. Sumakay na ako sa loob ng karwahe at sinabihan ang coachman kung saan pupunta. Bago ako bumaba ay nagsuot muna ako ng cloak to hide my face since I am indeed the emperor of this empire.

"Wait for me at the exit of this place. You can go wonder around but don't be too far from where your supposed to be." Paalala ko sa coachman bago bumaba at naglakad na palayo sa karwahe.

Pumunta ako sa isang cafe na hindi masiyadong open sa public dahilan kung bakit dito kaming tatlo lagi nagkikita. We don't like too crowded place that much that's why we choose this place to be our little hideout when we were still a little younger.

"I'm here."

Sabay-sabay na lumingon ang dalawa sa direksyon ko. Umupo ako sa katabing silya na inuupuan ni Rawwler. "So, what's the meeting about?" Tanong ko habang pinagsasaklop ang dalawang kamay at inilagay ito sa taas ng lamesang pumapagitna sa aming tatlo.

"I... I found something unexpected inside my empire's palace." Tristan said then fixed his posture first before clearing his throat and looking at us seriously. "Or rather someone."

My brows met with what he has said to us. What do you mean someone?

"Someone? Sino naman?" Nagtatakang tanong ng kapatid ko sa kaniya kung kaya't inayos niya muna ang postura niya bago muling nagsalita. "I saw a kid who unusually had the same colors of my eyes and when I saw him he looks like he's around the age of five or six." He said which made me and my brother look at each other.

Seven years ago Tristan had a one night stand with a woman who up until now we hadn't name yet. And hearing this made quite the spark towards the possible person behind that mask years ago. "Posible kayang..." Sambit ni Rawwler habang papalit-palit ang tingin sa amin ni Tristan.

"There's a chance but its still quite impossible. Knowing that empress, parang hindi siya sociable when it comes to meetings nor banquets." Sagot niya habang nakakunot noong nakahawak sa kaniyang baba at nakatingin sa paanan niya.

"But still, it is never low." Diin kong saad sa kaniya na mas lalong ikinakunot ng noo nito. Inayos ko muna ang pagkakalapag ng kamay ko sa lamesa bago muling tinignan ang pinsang gulong-gulo. "But, what if he's really your child? Base on your statement, sumasakto ang edad niya sa taong nagpakasarap ka." Kibit-balikat na saad ni Rawwler.

He quickly received a death glare from Tristan because of his last sentence. "He MAY really be my child but I can't confirm it yet. Madaming mayroong kulay asul na mata sa imperyo kaya hindi pwedeng maghinala agad ako." Mariing saad niya na ikina-ikot ng mata ko. "Oh really? Meron pa bang ibang tao na mayroong maladagat na kulay ng mata at kapag nasisinagan ng ilaw ay mas lumalalim pa yung kulay?" Sarkastiko kong saad na ikinabusangot niya.

AFTER a few hours of talking and pursuing Tristan to confront his wife about the kid ay natapos narin ang meeting naming tatlo. Muli kong sinuot ang hood ng cloak at pumunta sa karwaheng dala. As I was going inside a familiar silhouette of a person caught my attention.

"Yuan Choi?"

Third Person's POV

The Emperor was quite baffled as to why he is seeing one of the most loyal knights of the empress sneak out of the palace and secretly go to the village. He has the urge to see why he's here but he shook it off because he knew it'll be a violation of someone's privacy.
