He's Dead

(Amaya's POV)

"Axel! Ako to, si Amaya! Don't you remember me? I'm a childhood friend." I said habang hinihigpitan ang yakap ko sakanya.

"What're you talking about? I don't even know you. Heck, you're not even close to familiar. Now get off me." Sabi niya as he broke the hug and started walking away.

"Axel! Hey! Why can't you remember me? Hey! Stop! Baka!"

(L/T: Baka - Idiot)

Humarap siya with an annoyed expression and said, "Miss, tantanan mo na nga ako. Hindi ako baka, tao ako. Ang gwapo ko naman para maging baka. And, if you don't stop I'll report you. Now leave me alone."

He started to walk further and further away, his figure getting smaller and smaller until he disappeared. I stood there completely shocked.

Napaluhod ako sa corridor at binaon ang aking mukha sa aking mga kamay.

Why can't he remember me?

Why?

"AMAYA!"

"Ay potchi!!!" napabangon ako bigla nung may sumigaw sa tenga ko pero nauntug ako sa isang matigas na bagay.

"Aray ko po! It hurts!" sigaw ni Sophia habang hawak hawak niya ang kanyang baba. Ah, nauntog ako sa baba ni Sophia.

"Ano ba kasi ginagawa mo? Bat mo ako sinigawan. And, wait." I just realized that we weren't in the school's corridor anymore.

"What are you doing here? Where am I?" ( ? _ ? ) 7

"You're such an idiot. Ang himbing ng tulog mo habang nagkwekwento ako. It's insulting." She pouted sabay subo ng Piattos.

"I was sleeping?" O _ O

"Yeah. Why?"

"But, we were in school! At, diba lunch palang? And where's Axel? Sophia andito si Axel sa Rosario!"

"What are you talking about Amaya? Kanina pa tapos yung classes noh. Don't you remember we had lunch with Leila earlier then came here sa StarBucks to have a little snack. At..."

Now na sinabi yun ni Sophia, naalala ko nga. Leila, Sophia and I did have lunch together and we all walked here but Leila had to go home early. So, everything was a dream? That whole Axel thing was a dream?

If it was, then Axel may not... Wait. Where is Axel anyway? Nacucurious tuloy ako...

"Hoy! Amaya! Di ka nanaman nakikinig!"

Nabalik ako sa mundo nung sumigaw ulit si Sophia, kaya naman sinita kami nung nasa cashier.

"Amaya, you did say Axel right? Did my ears deceive me or were you really saying Axel?" she said at sumubo ulit.

"Oh yeah. Sophia, I dreamt about Axel."

"Ah si Axel."
