Just Forget About Him

(Amaya's POV)

"Hey Amaya, hurry up!" sigaw ni Leila habang nagjojog backwards. Physical Education class kasi namin buong afternoon period and as a warm up, we have to jog around the campus.

"Go on ahead, I have to tie my laces." Sabi ko at pinakita sakanya ang shoelaces ko.

She nodded and waved tapos tumakbo na siya. Cute niya kahit nakatalikod. XD Bagay pa yung P.E. uniform sa kanya. Plain whte Tshirt siya at red P.E. shorts.

"Oh, Amaya, anong nangyari?"

Tinaas ko ang ulo ko at nakita si Sophia na nakaearphones at ponytail. Nakaluhod na ako at tinatali ko na yung laces ko.

"Yung shoelace ko kasi eh." Sabi ko sabay kamot ng ulo.

"Ah, need help?" Di kasi ako marunong magsintas eh. Well, hindi naman sa hindi talaga marunong, mahina lang talaga at complicated ako magsintas. Sige na, kayo na magaling. = 3 =

"No need. Sige na, una ka na. Nauna na din si Leila. Save a seat for me sa rest stop okay?"

Apparently sa rest stop ng school kami hihinto. Isang malaking room siya na fully ventilated at may snacks and drinks. Maraming spare chairs dun at towels at kaharap lang nito ang field kung saan most of the P.E. activities are done.

"Okay. Wag kang masyadong matagal. Kakainin ko snack mo. Bwahahaha!" at tumakbo na siya.

It's been a week nung nagusap kami about kay Axel. And a week since that sudden attack I had.

*flashback*

"Ax-axel..." she managed to say between her cries.

"What? What happened to him?"

Bigla nalang pinalitan ng pag-aalala yung galit kong nararamdaman. Then, I had this feeling that I didn't want to hear what she's going to say next.

"H-he... di-died... wh-when... y-you... le-left..."

After she said that she started to cry harder.

Ako naman, nagproprocess pa yung sinabi niya.

Axel, he died when you left.

I dropped to my knees and then droplets of water escaped my eyes. I was looking at the girl crying in front of me with disbelief.

Now more than ever, how I wish that the dream I had was true. Because, I'd rather he forgot about me than to know that

Axel's...

DEAD.

I was shocked there on the floor at di ako makagalaw. Tears are flowing nonstop and I can't breathe properly. Siguro nahalata ni Sophia ang deep breathes ko kaya lumingon siya sakin mula sa pagkayuko niya.
