Am I going insane?!

TELL ME I'M NOT THE ONLY ONE WHO THINKS THIS

AHH!!

Okay so this has been bugging me ever since I read L.J's story. I don't know why, but it has. So, from what I can tell, I have been thinking OVER AND OVER in my small little head of mine that L.J, the creepypasta, is ALMOST exactly like Mary, from the game Ib.

NOW BARE WITH ME HERE AS I EXPLAIN WHY!!!

First, their personalities.

Oh dear lord, I swear that their personalities are the exact same.

Both childish, both so happy that it's uncomfortable, both mentally insane, both bipolar (from what I can tell), both yandere, BOTH NOT HUMAN!!! Now, yes, L.J is perverted, but when it comes to the perverted book Ib finds in the art gallery, I can assume that Guertena was too.

Next, their stories.

Now, although Mary's story also relates to Jeff because of how they both died in a fire (or at least were harmed by fire), her story leans more on L.J's. They were both betrayed by someone (L.J being Issac, Mary being her dad), They were both stuck in a creepy, gloomy place for a long period of time that made them go insane, and they both harmed someone just so they wouldn't leave them! I don't know about you, but all I get from their stories after going insane is the word 'YANDERE'.

Lastly, the extra.

Both love candy, both have a burning hatred for the other (Mary hates adults, L.J hates kids), both consider their world to be a carnival (it says in the game that the gallery is like an amusement park), both had been created out of the minds of another, therefor imaginary, both have minions (L.J - his victims. Mary - the creepy dolls and paintings), both love playing with toys and having fun.

Should I continue with the similarities or nah?

Now, don't get me wrong, there are differences about them too.

Like:

L.J is an adult(ish) man, Mary is a small child.

L.J is perverted, Mary is innocent (I hope she is, anyways).

L.J is monochrome, Mary is full of color.

L.J is a clown, Mary is a painting.

L.J was created by a child, Mary was created by an adult. (Which is why they have the hatred for one another)

But, in the end, they're both just sad and lonely, longing for a friend. And with them being driven into insanity because of being alone for so long, they harmed people in order to have a friend.

NOW, IS THIS JUST ME WHO THINKS THIS?!

HAVE I GONE INSANE?!
