"Hi kitty... " I said as I knelt down to pet the cat.

This cat's been wondering around yhe apartment complex I'm living in for awhile now, I'd love to take her home but I'm pretty sure they don't allow pets.

I didn't want to get kicked out or anything. I'm already always running back on rent so having a pet would make things worse.

I was currently on my way to work.

Of course it isn't anything to good it's honestly just cleaning the streets.

They said I would sometimes be called to clean houses but not alot since I'm a minor and all that.

As I was cleaning up some trash thrown around I spotted a crowd including men with cameras go by.

I was curious so I walked over to where they were going and spotted a lady with blond hair walking with coffee in her hand.

Guess she was a celebrity...

I looked at her as I tried to figure out who she was but it didn't really click.

Honestly who can blame me. I never really watched anything since we only ever had cartoons playing at the orphanage.

And I can't afford to lose any money with cinemas or anything like that.

I sighed and knelt down when I saw that my shoe lace was untied.

My shoe was old,ripped and dirty. I could see my foot from a hole from the side.

But it was one of the only shoes I owned so I didn't really have an option.

But I should probably try and save money for a new one to get from goodwill or something.

I lifted my head back up and somehow made eye contact with the actress.

Or maybe it looked like I did.

I ignored it and  left the area.

I smiled at the paycheck in my hands and opened my phone to look at some notes I took of the things I needed.

Food... I'll probably get some bread and instant ramen for that.

I need to put some aside for rent...

Also for shoes.

Ah then I need new notebooks.

Also some ointments for my scratches.

So I did that.

I kept looking at the money I had left and always got the cheapest thing possible.

I got the cheapest ramen and bread also the cheapest shoes.

I mean I just needed them to fit me.

I put the rest of the money in my bag and went to the library.

I had a library card and wanted something to read...

I knelt down when I saw an interesting cover on the bottom shelf and started to read the back of it.

I stood up when I liked it and looked for an empty place to read some of it.

The library seemed to be quite crowded today with students studying and people reading.

But I saw an empty spot next to a woman and took a deep breath before walking over to her.

"Hi, do you mind if I sit here? " I asked and she looked up.

I was shocked to see that it was the actress I saw earlier today.

She smiled and I sat down.

I didn't sit to close to her since I was probably dirty.

And honestly speaking she looked pretty.

And her clothes were pretty to, I highly doubt she would like me touching her.

I opened the book and started to read.

I felt the lady next to me staring at me so I lifted my head.

I made eye contact with her eyes that were identical to mine.

The same shade of green except hers somehow looked prettier.

"What happened to your face? " she asked as she closed her book after inserting a bookmark in it.

I touched the bandaids on my face and smiled. "I'd rather not say... "

She didn't question my any further and smiled. "What's your name? " she asked me.

"Violet... "

"That's a pretty name. " she said and I smiled.

"Thank you. "

"Mine is Elizabeth. " she said getting closer to me. "Your an actor aren't you? Or a celebrity of some sort. I saw you with cameras earlier. "

She nodded with a smile. "Oh, I'm sorry for not recognizing you... I haven't really seen any movies or shows... "

"It's okay. "

She said and I smiled. I flinched when I suddenly heard something but it was from my phone.

I took it out my pocket and put the book on the table in front of us.

I took my stuff and left in a hurry leaving Elizabeth all alone.

I ran to my house which was abit far away. But I ran, I didn't stop and ran.

By the time I was in front of the stairs I was having difficulties breathing.

But I went up them and stopped when I saw him standing in front of my door.

He turned his head and smiled when he saw me. "Hello, Violet. "
