I walked towards the front door and watched as the curtains inside slightly moved.

The front door flew open revealing one of the older kids staying. She was only a year or so younger then me.

"Mother said you went to the airport. Why didn't you take me, I wanted to see where all the planes were. " she said as I entered and started taking my shoes off.

"I went early and didn't want to wake you up. Plus I didn't see any planes upclose or anything. I only accompanied him to the entrance. "

"But still I wanted to come to and say bye. I've seen him a bunch thanks to the amout of times he came to pick you up and stuff. Wouldn't he find it rude if I let him leave without a little goodbye? "

"No he would not. Besides there was alot of people there you would have felt uncomfortable. "

"And you didn't? "

I rolled my eyes and went up the stairs to the shared bedroom.

She followed me and I spoke. "I did but I was fine... "

"You know you rely to much on that box of pills of yours. " she crashed onto the bed making it squeak.

I took a deep breath to stop whatever memory threatened to come to mind.

"Your going to turn into a complete wreak the day your little psychiatrist takes you off those. "

"I highly doubt I'll ever be written off them as I can't even properly live without them."

"Well Vivi your turning 17 in like what afew months or then after a whole year turning 18 and I'm pretty sure being a jobless, mentally unstable and academically late isn't ideal. Part time jobs won't put you through life either. That's how my so called father ended up in the hands of drug dealers and going to whatever place men like those go after death. "

I sighed and looked up to see her staring into my goddamn soul. I stood up and smiled.

"Guess I'll be a whore at a strip club. " I said with the same smile.

A deep frown appeared on her face.

"Are those pills making you woozy why would you joke like that. Seriously stop joking about shit you can't even get past. " she said as she left the room.

I gave my leg a slight pinch as she left and sat back onto the bed careful not to make it creak or squeak.

These beds were turly a nightmare on days I can't sleep. Which is alot.

I took my bag and dumped all the pill boxes to look at which ones I'm short on so I can ask for a refill next time.

I walked into the grocery store and looked at the list in my hands. Mother sends one of us to the store on certain days of the week to get stuff.

The stuff I get is usually food since the others don't really know what brand to get. I put the stuff into the cart and walked all while looking at the list.

I suddenly hit into something making me look up in a hurry to see a lady kneeling down to pick something up.

"I'm so so sorry. " I said in a hurry as I walked next to her to see if she was okay.

"It's fine, I'm okay. " she said as she stood up.

"Are you sure, I really should have paid closer attention I mean it really is a card filled to the brim to. "

I heard the lady chuckle making me look at her.

"You don't have to worry so much you just lightly hit my leg it's really no biggie."
