Surely...there is time for one more — My brother has spent all evening crafting something. An original.

—— THE NEXT DAY ROLLED BY FASTER THAN EXPECTED. Prince Loki had just gotten back to the palace from his secret cave up in the mountains where there, he practiced his magic. Learning the ways of a sorcerer. But while he was trodding through the large hallways, so was Prince Thor, Lady Sif and the Warrior's Three,

"Did you see him? The way he snuggled with his toys as he slept?" Lady Sif asked the older Prince with a large smile, "I love him so dearly."

"We all do," Prince Thor added.

"One day, your son will be a fine warrior," Volstagg added.

"I would hope so, being the God of Strength," Thor said.

"If not a warrior, then definitely a man of the ladies," Fandral said and Lady Sif gave him an annoyed look.

"Not if I have anything to say about it," she said.

Prince Loki stopped in his place, watching as the group strolled past him. It wasn't long until he noticed they wore nice attire, almost like they were attending a ball but not quite,

"Is there a ball tonight?" Loki asked, beginning to walk after the group. But Thor and Sif were the only ones who stopped to look at the Prince, while the Warrior's Three continued on.

"It's not. It's a soirée," Sif informed him, before she stood up straight, noticing the confused expression across the Prince, "Did you not know we were invited by the Kaelanson's? Interesting..."

"Not really, love," Thor muttered as he and Sif both looked at Loki, "Not how he and the Lady get along."

Prince Loki shook his head, scoffing, "It's at the Kaelanson House," he murmured, "So either Lady Kaarina has come to her senses and is wishing to get to know you or she has no idea you're coming. I'm gonna take a guess and say the second option."

Prince Thor shook his head, coming to become more and more irritated with his brother, "Did you even go to the House? Like I asked of you?"

"Yes."

"Did you apologize?"

"No."

This time, it was Lady Sif who was irritated, "And why not? If we want Lady Kaarina to become your brother's wife, then you and the Lady must get along."

"Rather die of starvation," Loki said, though his sly expression dropped when both of them glared at him, "I gave the sister a horse. She seemed grateful. And I really think I may have gotten to Lady Kaarina. Told her what her duties required of her."
