Lady Kaarina...Why do you still stand away from me?

——— THAT EVENING, changed in a different shade of purple, Kaarina wandered around the palace's drawing room while Prince Thor trailed her behind, an amused smile across him. The drawing room was much larger than her own, that much was certain. But what she loved the most was the view outside the windows. The view of the kingdom. Everyone looked like little bugs from her view, "I hope today wasn't too wearying," she heard Prince Thor say, as he stepped next to her in front of the window.

She turned to him, a charmed smile across her, "Of course not, Your Highness," she said.

"I know my brother can be...taxing, but I believe...today he was quite...fun," Prince Thor told her as she listened intently, "I've never seen him laugh the way he did with you today..."

"Really?" Kaarina asked, quite surprised and Prince Thor nodded.

"I didn't know there was a side of him that could do anything other than scowl," he said and Kaarina chuckled.

"He was...different than before," she said, "Perhaps me and His Highness may finally get along."

"Perhaps," Prince Thor grinned, "It would be tolerable if we are to spend more time together."

"Yes," Kaarina smiled. She thought on a moment before saying, "Your Highness...As I look in the future, I do imagine myself supporting my husband as he does me. But that is not to say I don't have a mind of my own."

"Oh," Prince Thor chuckled, "I am very aware."

And Kaarina chuckled as well before continuing, "Well...What I mean was...I love to read," she said and Prince Thor shifted his brows surprised, "I have not been able to, as of late, but I do. And I can only ever imagine my future child to as well find a love of literature and learning as well. I'm aware it's not very acceptable for a woman to—"

"Oh, no, no," Prince Thor quickly said, Kaarina slowly looking up at him, "I very much understand, M'Lady. You should be able to teach your children your love of books, even if they don't end up liking them as you do — but I must admit to you, the only thing I have read this year was that poem at the soirée."

"A poem...you in fact didn't write?" Kaarina questioned and Prince Thor quickly nodded, earning a chuckle from the girl.

And then the two ended up in a small fit of laughs. Though it was nothing compared to Kaarina and Loki's bursts of laughter from earlier. But the laughter quickly died down when there was a knock at the door, causing the two to glance back from the window.

No one had to say anything for Kaarina to know what was on the side. Or rather, who was on the other side. The Lady tensed up as Prince Thor smiled, glancing at the worrisome girl, "Do not despair, M'Lady," he said and she looked at him, "He'll love you."
