Your play, Your Highness — Unless you do not wish to dirty your royal boots?

—— IT HAD BEEN ALMOST A MONTH since the Lady Kaarina Kaelansdottir and His Highness, Prince Thor Odinson had begun their courtship. They had attended many royal engagements together, arm in arm, chit chatting amongst each other, getting to know each other.

Anywhere they went, there were envious eyes watching them, gossipy whispers surrounding them. And though Kaarina was bothered by it at first, she and Prince Thor soon found amusement by it. They accepted the fact that everyone in the realm now were obsessed with them, so much that they were all they talked about. Kaarina was truly just having fun with Prince Thor, and they were getting along so well. So why was it that the Lady Kaarina was so shocked when the Prince had invited her and her family to stay at the Palace for a month?

Chaos filled her House as she sat by the fireplace, looking deadpanned. Her mother and sister were running about, getting packed for the month long stay at the Palace, but Kaarina? Frozen. She didn't know why she was so shocked if she and the Prince were getting along so well.

But when she saw the sight of her sister and dress fabrics right before her, Kaarina blinked out of her daze, finding Rune was holding up dresses in front of her sister, "Pink looks nice on you...though it is more my color," Rune said right as Astrid stormed up to them.

"No," the mother said, pulling the dress away from Kaarina, "She shall wear purple," and from that, Kaarina rolled her eyes.

"Purple is so boring, mama," Rune said, causing Kaarina to slightly chuckle in amusement, "We're going to the palace. Kaarina should wear something bold. Like...red."

Rune held up a red dress before Kaarina, but before the eldest girl could react, Astrid gasped, snatching the dress away just as the pink one, "She shan't wear red either! She isn't evil, Rune!" The mother snapped but both of her daughters looked annoyed, "Purple and gold would look pleasant on your sister."

"So would red and gold," Kaarina murmured under her breath, but when she looked up at her mother, she found a very distasteful look. The girl shook her head, sitting up straight in her seat.

"Isn't it a good sign that His Highness has invited us to spend an entire month with his family?" Rune asked her mother, "I think that is more important than what colors she wears. We never know...by the end of the month, the palace might be announcing the engagement between our Kaarina and Prince Thor."
