Are you always so rude or has the amount of maidens you've been with in one setting made your head dumber?

——— BEFORE THE REALM KNEW IT, it was the eve before the wedding of the Crowned Prince, Thor Odinson of Asgard to Lady Kaarina Kaelansdottir of Asgard. Everyone was absolutely buzzing in nerves.

Up in the young Lady's bed chambers, Kaarina sat at a desk, a book on it while holding a cup of steaming tea. Sitting with her, was Lady Rune Kaelansdottir and Viscountess Lidia Leifsdottir. The girls were giggling excitedly as Kaarina watched them, smiling. "Oh, I'm so excited," Rune said as Lidia smiled at her, "Arent you, Rina?"

"Uh, yes," Kaarina stammered out, placing her tea on its saucer, "It's...strange. I have lived a million tomorrows, and it's all led to this one."

"Tomorrow is the day you have been preparing your whole life," Rune said and Kaarina lightly nodded, "You're ready. I know it — Prince Thor adores you, as well does Triston." And Kaarina once again smiled.

Rune then sighed, a glimmer in her eyes, "I do hope that one day, someone looks at me the way Thor does to you, so I can be certain he loves me," she said and Kaarina suddenly looked at her sister, a conflicted look over her. She does not sincerely think Thor and I love each other, does she?

"Looks can be powerful, sestra," Lidia spoke up, causing both Kaelansdottir girls to smile that their sister-in-law learned a little bit of Bulgarian for them, "...but as well fleeting. Displays of mere passion, perhaps. Nothing more."

"So my future husband will feel little passion for me?" Rune asked before they all chuckled.

"No," Lidia laughed, "No, what I mean to say is that...true love is something else entirely. It's when the rest of the world goes quiet. It's not eyes that meet...but souls that dance. Settle into one another. Make room for one another until there is nowhere else to hide." And Kaarina gazed at her intently, her eyes glimmering in thought.

Meanwhile, in the anteroom, the boys of the court were downing drinks upon drinks. The Warriors Three were happily laughing with Prince Thor, while Prince Loki dully sat with them, sipping on tea. Ignoring the comments his brother's friends made about it, too.

As Thor downed a goblet of beer, his friends chuckled as Loki eyed his brother, "It is meant to be a sipping spirit," Volstagg told the Prince.

"Have you not heard?" Fandral asked, "The future king believes in hurrying things along these days. First his courtship, now his drink."

Thor slammed his empty goblet down, demanding another as Fandral continued, "I hope for Kaarina's sake, this tendency stops before the honeymoon."

Volstagg chuckled as Loki placed his tea cup on its saucer, eyeing the blonde warrior, irritated, "Are you always so rude or has the amount of maidens you've been with in one setting made your head dumber?" he asked.
