"Next week will be the airing of the final episode," our manager said. "I want you." She pointed at me. "To stay over at Kirk's place. Have a dinner together. Post a photos of you together and watch the last episode of the series together. Do you understand?" She look at us.

I clutch my fist. Jayde's family invited me to their family dinner next week. Umalis na kasi si Jayde sa trabaho. She's not teaching anymore. She's preparing because she's going to law school a few months from now.

"Is that really necessary? Hindi ba pwedeng manood na lang kami kaniya kaniya sa mga condo o bahay namin? Like we used to do?" I asks.

Our manager sigh and look at me disappointed. "It's a strategy, Reeve. A lot of brands will offer you to introduce their products, magazines will offer you to be at their front page, interviews, new projects. See? It will bloom the career of you both. Did you see how many followers did you gain on your social medias? That's the power the two of you hold." She explained.

Kirk reaches for my hand and squeeze it. He leaned forward and whisper, "I'm excited to have you at my place, Reeve."

I fake a smile at him. I feel uncomfortable and awkward thinking that I will be spending the night at his place.

"And Kirk, as a man, don't do any harm to Reeve. Know your limits," our manager warned him.

In the next three days we spent time doing photoshoot for different brands. We have a lot of interviews and many things to do. I barely have time to hold my phone. Jayde always sent me a message even though I can't reply to her. Pero palagi ko namang sinabi sa kaniya ang mga ginagawa ko kapag may free time.

I badly want to see her. The last time I saw her, noong may lagnat pa siya. It's been a week.

"I miss you," I say over the phone when I had the time to call.

"God, I miss you too. Can't wait to see you next week," she replied excitedly.

I swallowed the lump on my throat. I paused for a minute, contemplating on how to say to her that I can't go.

"What's wrong, babe? Uh, don't tell me you can't come?" Her voice softened.

"Baby... something came up," I began. "The manager asked me to stay at Kirk's place next week to watch the final episode of our series together. She just said it three days ago." Nahihirapan kong sabi.

I heard her sigh. "Alright. I'll tell my parents. But, the idea of you spending the night at Kirk's place is haunting me. Is he harmless?"

"Baby, don't worry. I'll call you kapag may ginawa siyang hindi mabuti," I says.

"Yup. Call me. Kailan kita makikita ulit?"

Her question make my heart ache. It's just a simple question, but I can't help but to be heartbroken. I wipe my tears away and compose myself.

"I'll see you when I have the time. I'm sorry, I've been so busy these days."

"How's school?" She asks.

"I finished all my homework, don't worry about it."

I immediately say goodbye to her when a staff called me because the fifteen minutes break ended at hindi pa ako nakabalik sa pwesto ko. This is the last photoshoot of the day. I want to visit Jayde after this, but we have an interview schedule after this one. I don't really have the time.

I've been busy the whole week. I didn't realize that today is the airing of the last episode. The management called me earlier to remind me about going to Kirk's place. Kirk also called informing me that he prepared a food for me.
