Jayde's words when I ended the call troubled me everyday. Nadagdagan pa na nag iba ang kinikilos niya mula no'n.

"Ang sabi nga niya busy siya kasi malapit na exam nila 'diba?" Nakapameywang na tanong ni Lily sa harap ko.

Ginulo ko ang buhok ko at 'di na siya pinansin.

Sinabi ko kasi sa kanya ang mga napapansin ko kay Jayde. We always talk everyday in call or in chat, but it's really different from the conversation we had when we were far away from each other.

Noong nasa Boston ako palaging matagal ang usapan namin sa tawag at sa chat, pero ngayon, hindi na umaabot ng tatlong minuto ang tawag namin, sa chat naman ay maikli lang ang mga reply niya.

I sigh heavily.

"Alam mo, malapit naman tayo umalis dito e, two days na lang makikita mo na siya. You can talk to her about your issues," saad ni Lily.

Maybe I was just overthinking. Jayde is busy with her studies, she's a law student after all.

Para mawala ang negatibong iniisip ko, tinawagan ko na lang si Reevon.

"Ate, napatawag ka?" Tanong ni Reevon nang masagot ang tawag.

I wrinkled my nose.

"Parang ayaw mong tumawag ako, ah?"

Narinig ko ang mahinang tawa niya sa kabilang linya.

"It's just unusual for you to call me," saad niya. "Usually you'll just send me a message, o 'di kaya naman ako ang tatawag."

"Where are you right now?" Tanong ko.

"I'm at our house, umalis si Mommy e, kaya 'di ako makaalis."

"Saan daw siya?"

"Pinapalinis niya 'yong condo mo, Ate. Uuwi ka na roon after two days, 'diba?"

Kinausap ko pa si Reevon ng ilang minuto bago pinatay ang tawag.

I decided to call my mom because I need to ask her about something on my condo. Baka may mapatapon siyang importante roon.

I called my mom but she wasn't answering. Akala ko ba pinapalinis niya ang condo ko? Bakit 'di siya sumasagot?

"Umalis pala si Mel, babalik daw siya mamayang gabi. Nagawa na rin niya ang mga kailangan niyang gawin, kaya binilin niya kayong dalawa ni Lily sa amin," balita ni Wilma.

I don't know what I'm thinking. I decided to call Mel, but like my mom, she didn't pick up the call.

I diverted my attention to my work. Lily and I are acting the love scene. We're both stiff and awkward, but somehow we managed to produce a good acting.

"You're good at this stuff, right?" Lily whispered under my mouth.

I lifted my eyebrow.

"What?" Pasinghal kong tanong.

"I said, you're more good and experienced when it comes to this. You and Jayde did it right? Don't tell me naman wala pang nangyari sa inyo?"

Kinurot ko siya sa tagiliran at nag proceed na sa acting namin. It's a love scene after the wedding of the couple who runaway from their homes.

"Cut!" Sigaw ng director. "Good job!" Dagdag niya pa.

Naging mas usap usapan kami ni Lily sa industriya dahil sa mga pictures namin na pi-no-post ng mga staffs. The behind the scene pictures and videos showed that Lily and I really care for each other, which is true—however, we're not really into each other.

"Xhyrill said that we look good together," saad niya pa pagkatapos naming umalis doon sa kama.

"Maybe she's jealous?"
