Hello, this is the final chapter of SDH. Thank you for staying and loving Reeve and Jayde until the end. I hope you'll support their daughter's story which is the Midnight Sunshine. Thank you for supporting me, and for reading this story. I know I still need improvement, but I appreciate you guys for reading this story. Hope to see you in my next stories.
PS: I'll edit this story once thesis is over.
They say when you see someone for the first time, and your heart beats like crazy, and the butterflies in your stomach starts to have their own party, it's called love at first sight.
However, when I saw Reeve for the first time, yeah, I felt something. But, I wouldn't call it as love at first sight...I would call it as familiarity... because when I first saw her, my heart seems to recognize her, and my eyes they didn't even blink. Yeah, it was familiarity, like it's you... it's you I've been looking for. How did I know? Because I recognized you. My heart feels familiarity when my eyes landed on you.
It was familiarity at first, and then without knowing it, I fell harder. Harder, because I didn't know I am capable of giving a love like this. A love where I know I would do anything to make her happy.
My tears couldn't stop falling as I watch her walk smoothly in the aisle. Flowers were scattered everywhere. The sea behind looks beautiful, and the sound of the waves is soothing and calming. Like my love for her.
We decided to have a beach wedding here in Boston, our families are invited, friends, and some of her colleagues. We can afford an extravagant wedding with more people invited, but Reeve insisted on making it simple. We had an argument about it, because I want an extravagant wedding because she deserves it. I worked hard, and saved money for the wedding I want for her.
But, Reeve, being Reeve, she's opposed to my idea. We talked about it. She wanted to have a simple wedding. And when I think about it, I really want to have a family with Reeve.
I imagined going home after work, the kids are waiting for me, and Reeve preparing for our dinner...or her opening her orders online, and I'll cook for us. Just that. As simple as that. She can do anything she wants.
Reeve laugh when she saw me struggling to fight for my tears. Josh tapped my back, I even heard Reevon's laugh. I saw Mich crying, and Trevk smiled at her while wiping her tears, their son look at his mother confused.
McCoy is also here with his wife and daughter. Marky and Richmond are also here, even Miss Alvarado—ang pinagseselosan ni Reeve noon. Xhyrill is also here, even though she and Lily broke up.
"You should stop crying." She teased.
They cried and hugged me.
"I just can't stop my emotions, because finally we're here." I smiled.
She squeezed my hand. "Yes, we're finally here."
"Dear friends and family, today we are gathered here to witness the union of Abrylle Jayde Mallari and Reeve Solene Dela Vega," panimula ng magkakasal sa amin.
Tumingin siyang dalawa sa amin.
I know it is the part where we need to exchange our vows, and then our I do's.
"Who would have thought that after years of not being together we would end up here. But, you know, even when we're not together I imagined that one day we're going to stand here and tell our vows to each other, and here we are now," I said nervously, but still smiling.
