"I...I'm not cheating on you, babe." Her eyes looked at me with such emotions. "I won't do that." Her voice broke.

She take a one step back away from me. Halatang nahihirapan dahil sa sinabi ko.

I felt guilty because I accused her of cheating without hearing her first. The jealousy and angriness take over the moment I saw a mark of lipstick on her neck.

"There's a girl who bumped into me while I'm walking, she just suddenly grabbed my collar and put a kiss on my neck." She explained. "Of course, I confronted her, but she said she and her friends were playing truth or dare while walking to kill some time." She paused looking at me. "And the dare was to kiss someone on the neck. At ako ang napili niya."

I didn't doubt Jayde's words, but the way her voice trembles in every words she say, I can't help but to think if what she said was true. But, I didn't mind it, after all, it's Jayde. She won't do such a thing.

"I understand it," I said. "I'm sorry about what I said."

Lumapit siya sa akin at niyakap ako.

"It's okay," she said. "Kumain ka na ba? Gusto mong sumabay sa akin? I'll cook something for you."

I nodded. Sabay na kaming pumasok sa loob ng bahay niya. She looks exhausted, but she was eager to cook something for me.

"Kumain na ako kasama si Lily," saad ko.

Natigilan siya sa paghiwa ng karne.

"Ah, I see." She smiled. "Lulutuin ko lang 'to in case gusto mo ulit kumain."

"Pero kakain pa rin ako rito, hindi naman madami ang kinain ko kanina," saad ko. "I'll eat with you, Attorney."

I heard her chuckled.

Pinanood ko lang siya habang nagluluto. Sinabi ko rin sa kanya ang tungkol sa lock in taping.

"So, you're going tomorrow?" She asks.

"Yup. Kaya ako pumunta rito para magpaalam sa 'yo," saad ko.

"Ilang araw kayo roon?" Tanong niya.

"One week."

Tumango siya at hindi nagsalita. Lumapit siya sa akin at pinatikim 'yong sabaw na niluluto niya.

"How was it?" She inquired.

"It's good," I replied giving her a smile.

She gave me her half smile and proceed on cooking.

There's an awkward ambience between us because of what happened earlier. Jayde sometimes can't look into my eyes longer than usual.

I know I said something terrible. I said she's cheating on me, it looks like I'm questioning her loyalty and love to me. I know Jayde is not capable of doing such things, but I can't help but doubt. Her actions right now adding fire to my doubts to her.

"Tomorrow," she casually said. "I'm going to a birthday party of a friend with Marky and some of our classmates."

"Okay, you need to have fun sometimes. I'm worried about you, 'cause all you did was to study everyday."

She chuckled and turned back to look at me.

"Thanks for your concern, babe." She smiled. "But, I do love studying, you know that. And also going out takes a lot of energy, I'd rather spend my time with you."

I'm glad that the awkwardness between us vanish. We talked over dinner. She asked about my day; I asked about hers.

She also apologized for cursing in front of me and acting awkward to me.
