"Congrats to us," saad ni Kirk.

He invited me to a dinner. Just the two of us. It's his way of apologizing for almost kissing me few days ago.

"First episode pa lang, pero, yes, congrats to us." Tinaas ko ang wine glass at nag cheers kaming dalawa.

"Am I forgiven already?" Nakataas ang kilay na tanong.

"Yeah, just don't do it again," saad ko.

"But, a lot of people are shipping us together now," he said. "What if we sail the ship?" He suggested.

Agad ko siyang ginawaran nang nakakaasar na tingin.

"What do you mean by that?" I asks trying to control myself.

"Let's date, for real." He whispered.

I blink twice.

"We can't. It's just work Kirk. Hindi pwedeng maging tayo," I replied.

"Why not? I'm single and you're single... unless..." He trailed off.

"Don't make such conclusion. It doesn't mean that we're single, we can date each other Kirk. I don't like you," I said frankly.

Tumawa siya at uminom ng wine.

"Come on, we should make our fandom happy," he urged.

"By what? By being in a relationship even though our feelings is not mutual?" I argued.

He let out a sardonic laugh.

"Sooner or later, sasabihin din naman ng management sa atin na kailangan nating maging couple in public," he says. "And you can't disagree anymore, career mo ang nakasalalay dito." He smirked.

"It's a mistake to forgive you," I said fiercely. "You're such a jerk."

"Reeve, I'm just stating facts. Ito ang katotohanan, kaya kailangan mong dumikit sa akin kung gusto mong makaakyat sa taas."

"I can go there without any man's help, Kirk."

He just shake his head and started eating.

To be honest, I don't want to be paired with Kirk anymore. He's really a jerk.

Also, I already established my name in the industry. I'm a rising star as the moment, and I don't want to ruin it.

"I'm sorry for being a jerk, I just like you so much," he suddenly confess.

"Yeah," I replied coldly while removing my seatbelt.

"I know I was a jerk earlier, but I'm telling the truth Reeve. I heard them talking about it. Baka bukas sabihin nila na kailangan nating magpanggap o 'di kaya sa mga susunod na araw. Ipinaalam ko lang sa 'yo para hindi ka na magulat." He reasoned out.

"I get it Kirk," saad ko. "I'll go now. Drive safely."

Hindi ko na siya hinintay na sumagot, agad na akong lumabas ng kotse niya at naglakad papasok sa building.
