Isa sat up and nodded before the other figure showed up, shocking us both. "MOM?!"

"Why are you two so shocked to see your mother?!" We cringed at her words. "I can still ground you both!"

Daniela and Cassandra giggled as they followed our mother closer to us. "You two are in trouble now."

"You two aren't helping," I sighed before sending a nervous smile to our mother. "W-we just thought you'd let one of us know you were coming, that's all!"

"You should've known I would show up."

"...Okay, yeah, I should've," I pouted. "But to be fair, I was helping these two!"

"Hey!" Isa huffed when I motioned between them and Daniela. "...It's true, but still-!"

I giggled at Daniela's flustered buzz, noticing she seemed to be in a better mood. 'I hope the story helped,' She sent me a smile before moving over to Isa. 'She doesn't look confused anymore, so that's a good sign.' Cassandra stayed behind my mother, making me raise an eyebrow in confusion.

"Your aunt scares me," Cassandra grumbled.

My mother laughed before placing a hand on Cassandra's back and rubbing soothing circles. "I promise you, Hera will be a lot nicer to you! She knows how much you mean to my daughter."

"She still scares me."

'She's pouting!' I internally cooed and stood up, making my way over to Cassandra. "Just be yourself and don't let her know you're scared of her, trust me."

"And if I do?"

"...Don't."

A soft whine left her until I cupped her cheeks and pecked her cheek, earning a quiet laugh from my mother. "If Isa's like your father, you're like me."

"I'm taking that as a compliment and not you insulting father and me," Isa pouted despite Daniela holding their hand.

'Looks like she is ready to accept that she doesn't have to let them go.'

"Wait!" I exclaimed when a thought crossed my mind. "What story did you tell her that made her scared of Aunt Hera?!"

"The same story I told little red over there when she first started dating Isa — the story of Sorana and Hera meeting."

I shuddered at the memory. "Yeah, definitely don't do or say anything she did and you'll be more than okay."

Year: ????

"Please, Sorana, just listen to me-," Isa sighed as their girlfriend adjusted their toga. "You can't talk to me the way you normally do-."

"And why not?! You want me to hide who I am?!"

"No, that's not it-!"

"It sure sounds like it."

"I just mean that Hera's different! She's the goddess of marriage, you can't be that... vulgar around her."

Sorana sighed and made her way over to Isa, making me sit up a bit more. 'Don't you fucking dare.'

"You're asking me to pretend to be this classy lady for your aunt, Isa."

"Not classy, just have a bit of a filter? It's not going to take long anyway!"

Sorana scoffed and walked off, leaving Isa to groan and run a hand through their hair. 'I don't blame them for being stressed — if Aunt Hera doesn't like Sorana, she's as good as dead. They'll never get permission to marry on Olympus — although I doubt that's even crossed Isa's mind. Aunt Hera set this up to see if Sorana's worthy of dating Isa, if she doesn't pass this, she'll never convince Isa to marry her.'
