I shrugged with a smirk, and sipped my orange juice. "Just stating a fact."

Cassandra giggled softly and leaned over to whisper. "You're so cruel."

"And you love it," I hummed, pecking her lips. "I can prove it too."

"Oh? Please do."

"Oh, get a room!" Isa gagged, making the others in the room laugh.

"So, Costin, have you started your lessons yet?"

Costin shook his head. "Mommy said I wait."

"I want him to learn here — give the girls something to do when we're working, and let our parents go back to being his grandparents instead of the ones raising him," Hunter said while sipping her water.

"Makes sense. Does this mean he's officially staying?"

"My mother has no issue with it."

Isa chuckled and leaned back in their seat. "Then it's good my parents have no issue with it either. All we have to do now is-."

Lady Dimitrescu chuckled before rolling her eyes. "Yes, yes, he can stay now."

After everyone finished eating, Cassandra helped me stand and pulled me with her. I entangled my fingers with hers while walking, letting her swing our arms between our bodies. Once we were far enough from everyone, she pulled me into a room and shut the door, kissing my cheek as she muttered for me to close my eyes.

I did as she said, closing my eyes and waiting for her to do whatever she planned. Shuffling of fabric and softly muttered curses were all I heard until Cassandra sounded like she set something down, causing me to perk up in hopes of being allowed to open my eyes soon. I heard more movement before Cassandra's arms wrapped around my waist, her lips kissing my cheek before she spoke.

"Okay, open your eyes, my love."

My eyes fluttered open after her statement, a soft gasp leaving me when my eyes landed on the painting. "Cass- this-this is beautiful."

"With Costin being around, I got to thinking about our future," She muttered and kissed my shoulder. "It isn't much, but I thought a future date would be best. Hope you like it."

"Like it?!" I scoffed and turned to kiss her. "I love it."

I glanced back at the painting and leaned against Cassandra, smiling at the scene. We were in the Underworld, hands entangled as we walked to a boat, and a field of flowers was in the background of the painting — the apparent location of the date. I placed my hands over hers and nodded at the art, glancing at her soon after.

"We could go there now."

Cassandra giggled but shook her head, tightening her grip on me. "Let's stay here for today — maybe next time."

"Are you worried you won't come back?" I asked softly and turned around in her arms. "You do know that Dani went before and returned, right?"

"Yeah, but Dani's nicer than I am... I-I..."

"Baby," I sighed with a frown, cupping her cheeks. "I won't leave the Underworld without you. You'll come back with me, even if we have to pry open the Doors of Death to get us out."

"You would go through all of that for me?"

"I pissed off two of the three most powerful sons of Kronos for you, so yeah, I would open the Doors of Death to get you out if I needed to."

"Couldn't that get you in trouble with the fates?"

"...Don't mention them."

"Sorry."

I giggled and pecked her lips. "Especially if you want sex tonight."

Cassandra perked up at that, a wide grin spreading across her face as she pulled me in for a tender kiss. I smiled into the kiss, entangling my fingers in her hair while moving her to a chair. She pulled me onto her lap and only deepened the kiss to let her hands roam, a giggle mixing into all the action. 'Always so happy to get her hands on me — I can't blame her this time, however, because it has been a while.'

I pouted when she broke the kiss but let her trail kisses along my jaw — working down my throat after. Her hands slid under my shirt, undoing my bra and sliding it off, trying to lift my shirt off my body. 'She wants me so bad, we've barely passed breakfast.' Cassandra whined when I pushed her away from my collarbone, her hands sliding to my waist to pull me closer.

"Why are you stopping me?"

"It's not even noon," I giggled. "And you want to have sex now?"

"...Uh, yeah," Cassandra muttered, her hands cupping my breasts. "The last time we had sex was when we needed to make a point to your family."

"Okay, that's fair enough," I laughed, moving my hands to her wrists. "Can you wait until we reach-?"

"A bedroom? Look around."

For the first time since being in the room, I looked around, noticing the room she pulled me into was one of my old rooms. I chuckled and slid off her, placing a finger on her chest to keep her in place when she tried to stand with me. Once she understood, I walked to the door and made sure it was locked, smiling to myself as I waited for her to whine.

Cassandra let out a whine — that quickly became a growl — when I didn't turn around immediately, making my smile widen. I slowly removed my shirt, which effectively shut Cassandra up while I turned toward her. Her jaw dropped until she noticed she was staring, making her shut her mouth and reach for me.

"Come here," She husked out, hunger burning in her eyes. "Let me hold you."

"Oh, you want to do more than that," I laughed as I made my way toward her. "Tell me, what do you have planned?"

"I thought you were a hands-on learner?"

"...I can be for today."

"Then come here, let me show you what I plan on doing."

I stopped in front of her and let out a gasp when she grabbed my waist, pulling me onto her lap in a flash. "Good girl. How do you like your new seat?"

"Well," I purred, sliding my arms around her neck and pressing my chest closer to her. "I would rather have a throne."

"You're not worked up enough for your throne — but we can change that very soon."
