Before taking my seat in the arena, I was greeted by lots of fellow musicians and people taking pictures, but all the while in the back of my mind was Calvin. Our brief encounter had a rather overwhelming effect on me, and I wasn't sure how to take it. As soon as I saw Ed I knew id be ok.

"Taylor!"

I heard my name being shouted. I quickly turned to see Ed struggling through the crowds trying to get to me.

"There you are" I said smiling at him. When he reached me I immediately hugged him "I'm so glad to see you"

"Wow it's only been a few hours" he replied pulling away from the hug

"Yeah I know iv just been looking everywhere" I began to look around the room, and as I did I caught sight of him. Calvin. Standing on the far side of the room, a stunning brunette clinging onto his arm. He was laughing with other people but it was like he could sense me looking at him. He lifted his head and his eyes locked onto mine. I quickly looked away, hiding my face with my hair like a little kid

"Shoot"

"What's up?" Ed asked concerned

"Oh nothing, shall we sit down"

"Okay?" Ed said. I could tell by his expression he was confused by my sudden reaction.

"I'll tell you in a second"

The Brits began, and I was buzzing with excitement as I watched artists perform and collect their awards, it wasn't long until id be up there performing myself, then to wait and see if I won the international female award.

"Okay so are you gonna tell me what happened earlier?" Ed whispered to me. I continued clapping for the artist on the stage as I leant back towards Ed

"What do you know about Calvin Harris?"

"He's an awesome DJ?"

"Yes I know that but, what else?"

"Iv only met him once and he seemed like a nice guy, why?"

"It's just I bumped into him earlier, and he was nothing like I expected" I spun round on my chair so I was facing Ed

"You probably took him by surprise" he smiled at me with his famous cheeky grin.

"That's what I'll keep telling myself from now on" I said patting Ed on the shoulder. I then took my phone out my bag and looked at the time

"Well I've gotta go, I'm on in 20 minutes" I stood up out my seat and slid it under the the round table

"Knock me dead" Ed said as we childishly high fived. I giggled as I walked towards the backstage area.
