Sometimes Ruby wondered how she was even related to John B- Sarah had given him specific instructions to not, under any circumstances, go to her families vacation home.
But of course her brother never listened- which is why when they woke up in the middle of the night to find him gone Ruby was now running to catch up with Sarah as she called him every name under the sun.
Both girls knew where he had gone, all he kept talking about was the gold so that's the only place he would've gone- but of course their bad luck only continued as Terrance threw them in the bed of his truck.
Ruby looked for a way out, preparing to jump but the girl she recognized as Cleo grabbed her arm, shaking her head no and holding a finger to her lips in a motion to stay quiet.
With a huff she stayed put- she swore if she never got to see JJ again she'd kill John B herself, she was over his games.
The two waited all night for Cleo to return with John B and once she did Ruby shoved him as hard as she could, rage evident in her hazel eyes.
He held up his hands in defense as she shoved him again, Terrance yanking her back and shoving her down into a chair.
She crossed her arms and glared at the ground, they were completely and royally fucked this time.
Her knee began to bounce as Terrance mentioned the bounty- she was praying John B had gotten some of the gold but her heart skipped a beat as he said he didn't.
She squeezed her eyes shut, preparing for death- " wait! Wait I can take you there! It's my families vacation house" Sarah reasoned, both girls mentally cursing John B as he even gave up their hunk of gold as collateral.
Now they were kidnapped with absolutely no money- hell they didn't even know if Terrance would keep his word after getting the gold.
That night as she sat in the bed of the truck she gazed up at the stars, tears in her eyes, " I love you Romeo.." She whispered into the dark.
Back in Kildare JJ was lying in a hammock, looking at the stars as he drank from his flask as his own tears filled his eyes,
" I love you Juliet.."
