The truck parked and they all climbed out, John B and Sarah went through the front while Ruby went in through the back.

She squinted into the darkness as she looked for the safe, quietly humming to herself as she made her way upstairs.

She turned and nearly screamed but stopped herself once she realized it was just Sarah, she allowed her to grab her by the belt loop and pull her along in the right direction to everyone else.

Sarah left her next to John B, pointing for her to stay put before going over to the safe and trying to figure out the code.

But each attempt was a fail and Terrance was beginning to grow impatient, " your birthday- Sar try your birthday.." Ruby said anxiously.

She glanced behind her, anxiety bubbling in her chest as Sarah tried to put in the code once again.

All three let out a breath of relief as the line turned green and Sarah was finally able to open the safe.

Ruby's eyes widened once she saw all the gold- it was beautiful, if she could just reach out her hand and touch-

She yelped as Terrance smacked her hand, greedily shoving her aside and loading duffle bags full of the gold.

Her eyes widened as the alarm system began to go off, glancing out the window and freezing as she saw several security officers surrounding the area.

She slapped at John B's arm, making him look out the window- he looked out then back at her but Ruby was impatient, already making a run for it.

Her and Sarah hid behind a wall as John B came up with a plan, nodding once for them to go but Ruby went slower- she wouldn't just leave her brother here.

She ducked behind a tree, cringing as the guards got ahold of John B- her heart was pounding as she heard Wards voice.

Sarah could leave, she didn't care- she wouldn't let Ward have John B arrested, they didn't go through all this for nothing.

She took a deep breath and nodded before stepping out from behind the tree.

Here goes nothing..
