Deku stood in front of Kacchan's casket, his heart heavy with grief. He couldn't believe that his beloved partner was gone, that he would never see him again, never hear his voice, never feel his touch.
As he looked down at Kacchan's still face, Deku felt a surge of emotion welling up inside him. He took a deep breath, trying to compose himself, before beginning to speak.
"Kacchan," he said softly, his voice trembling with emotion. "I don't even know where to begin. There are so many things I want to say to you, so many things I wish I could have said before you left us."
He paused for a moment, collecting his thoughts, before continuing. "First of all, I want you to know how much I loved you. From the moment I met you, I knew that you were someone special, someone I wanted to be with for the rest of my life. You made me laugh, you made me feel safe, you made me feel like I could take on the world."
Deku's voice broke, and he paused again, tears streaming down his face. He took a deep breath, steadying himself, before continuing.
"I also want to thank you, Kacchan. Thank you for showing me what it means to be strong, to be brave, to never give up. You were always pushing me to be my best, to never settle for anything less. And I know that I wouldn't be the person I am today without you."
Deku reached out and touched the smooth surface of the casket, his fingers tracing over the wood. "I wish I could have saved you, Kacchan," he whispered. "I wish I could have been there for you, to protect you from whatever it was that took you away from us. But I know that you wouldn't want me to dwell on that. You would want me to keep going, to keep fighting, to keep living."
He took another deep breath, trying to steady his voice. "So that's what I'm going to do, Kacchan. I'm going to keep going, and I'm going to make you proud. I'm going to honor your memory by living my life to the fullest, by never giving up, by always striving to be my best. And I know that you'll be with me every step of the way."
Deku leaned down and placed a kiss on the top of the casket, tears still streaming down his face. "I love you, Kacchan," he whispered. "And I always will."
