Your suspension that Hawkins might not be your stalker was confirmed when you and Ace ordered room service for dinner. When your freckled boyfriend went to let the bellhop in with cloth coverd trolly full of food, you noticed to police officers standing outside your room.
They watched the bellhop closely as he set your trays of food on the small table in your room and you gave him a tip, the bellhop gave the officers a polite nod as he left the room.
"Do you guys want anything? I can order you something to eat." You offered the two cops. You didn't know how long they've been standing out there, but you figured they might be hungry or thirsty.
"No thank you Miss." The one officer replied, he was a bit older, with a pot belly and an air of professionalism around him that reminded you of detective Smoker.
"A water if you don't mind." The second officer smiled at you. She was younger, probably only a few years older than you. Her black hair was pulled into a ponytail and wore red squared glasses, her name tag said Tashigi.
You went over to the mini fridge in the room and grabbed a water bottle from it. You went back to the door and gave the bottle to Tashigi. "Here you go."
"Thank you." Tashigi took the water bottle and turned her attention back to staring down the hall liker her companion. You said goodbye to both of them and closed the door.
Ace had order a lot more food than you, he had four trays of food to your one. He had taken the lids off of each tray and was taking some of the food off of his plates and putting it on yours.
"You don't have to give me any of your food, I'll be full with what I got." You pulled out the chair next to him and sat down.
"This is hotel food is good, you should try a little of each thing." Ace smiled and dug into his food. You playfully rolled your eyes at him, he was right about the food being good, but there was no way you'd be able to finish the extra food on your plate. You decided to tackle what you could and let Ace eat whatever you didn't finish.
"So, it seems-" Ace's sentence cut off as he fell asleep in his plate of food. You didn't have time to catch him with your fork in your only usable hand. You placed your fork down on the table and gently moved Ace's head off of his plate. There was some mashed potatoes and gravy stuck to his face, you grabbed one of the cloth napkins that came with the food and started wiping his face. You startled when he sat bolt upright and continued talking where he left off. "Hawkins probably isn't you're stalker, I mean he could be, but if he was, why are there two cops standing outside our door?"
"My thoughts exactly." You continued cleaning Ace's face with the napkin, the task much easier now that he wasn't pressed against the table. "I wonder who it could be though. Since we're not staying at our dorms at the moment, it's hard to know if someone's been following us. Not that it's been easy to tell."
You finished cleaning Ace's face and set the dirtied napkin aside. There was a shine from the gravy still on Ace's face, he'd have to wash his face later to remove it.
"Thank you." Ace went back to eating his food despite his face being in it a minute ago. You went back to your own food, a slight frown on your face as you thought over who could be your stalker. You found it funny how you told Sabo not to investigate into the matter, but here you were thinking about it.
"Hey, now the foods not that bad." Ace chuckled as he poked at your cheek.
"It's not, it's really good. I've just been thinking, it would be nice if it was Hawkins. We could go back to normal."
"It would be, but it's better to be safe than sorry. And if it's not Hawkins than maybe he has some idea of who it is, he had to be outside the hotel for a reason." Ace pointed out.
