*5 MONTHS LATER*

It has been five months and a lot has happened in the past few months. But I can still remember all the happy moments filled with laughter. Miss Toni and I have become even closer since then. We're always together, no matter where we go. I am grateful to have met her, and as time goes by, my feelings for her deepen. I really like her, the way she talks, laughs, and even the way she carries herself.

Being around her just feels right, and I can't imagine spending my days without her. Even though there are times when I feel nervous around her, I know that she is someone who is worth the risk. I hope that someday, I can gather the courage to tell her how I truly feel about her.

But I can't keep these feelings to myself anymore. I need to do something about it.

So, I decided to plan a date with her. I wanted it to be perfect, so I thought of everything she likes. We're going to have dinner at her favorite restaurant, then watch a movie after. It's a bit cliché, but I hope it's enough to show her that I care.

I am already at the office, I was sitting at my desk, staring blankly at my computer screen, Nag-aabang ako kay Miss Toni. Mukhang late nanaman siya, di na rin naman bago yun kase late naman talaga siya lagi. Sanay na 'ko.

After a few more minutes, she finally arrived, when Toni walked into the office. As always, she looked stunning, and I couldn't help but smile at her. Pero mukhang seryoso siya at medyo malayo ang tingin.

"Ey, good morning, bakit naman nakasimangot ka ngayon?" I asked her while doing my work.

I could see from her face that she had a serious problem. Hindi tulad ng dati na pagpasok niya ay puno ng tawa at sigaw at sasabihin pa niyang "good morning!" Ngayon, tahimik at malungkot siyang naglalakad papunta sa kanyang mesa.

"Hey, what's wrong?" I asked her as I approached her desk, but she did not answer as if she did not hear me.

"Is there a problem?" I asked again, but still, she did not respond. Hinawakan ko ang kanyang braso upang mapatingin siya sa akin. Pero hindi pa rin siya nagpakita ng anumang reaksyon.

"Did something happen in the office?" I asked her, but still no answer. Instead, she sat down on her chair and logged in to her computer. I thought maybe she had a problem in her personal life, so I decided not to bother her.

But after a few minutes, my curiosity got the best of me.

"Toni, what's going on? Why are you in this mood?" Biglang napalingon siya sa akin at saka nagsalita.

"Nothing, hindi lang siguro ako nakatulog nang maayos," sabi niya. Napakunot noo ako sa kanyang sagot, I couldn't understand why her attitude suddenly changed.

"Toni, did something happen? Why are you acting like this?" I asked her again.

"Ano ba, Vince? Wala akong pakialam sa mga bagay na 'yan," she said to me seriously and coldly.

I didn't say anything and just kept quiet because I thought she might be going through something serious. I was genuinely concerned for her.

Then after a while, my dad called me to his office. He said there was something important we needed to discuss, maybe about the new projects for the company or needing someone to assist him on his business tours.

I immediately went to his office to find out.

"Good morning, son. How are you?" my dad greeted me warmly as I entered his office.
