𝐊𝐈𝐌 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐍𝐈𝐂𝐀 𝐖𝐄𝐑𝐄 𝐖𝐎𝐑𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 out with each other while Eddie was practicing with his bo-staff when Jack came in the dojo. "Hey, guys, we did a good job decorating," he said, dropping his skateboard and helmet beside the mat. "Our Halloween festival tomorrow night is gonna be a blast."

"Yeah." Kim nodded, leaning her arm on Veronica. "But can we please change the name from Boo-Stravaganza?"

"No way!" Eddie exclaimed and the two girls looked at him. "I came up with that. The 'Boo' part is scary. 'Stravaganza' is fancy talk for party."

"So—uh—Jack, you know the Halloween legend about our dojo, right?" Kim asked and Veronica sighed, sitting on the mat.

"What legend?"

She shrugged and shook her head. "This place wasn't always a dojo. It used to be a butcher shop called Meyer's Meats."

"On a hot summer's day..." Eddie said. "You can still smell the brisket wafting off the mats."

Jack chuckled as he sat down beside Veronica. "I always thought that smell was Jerry."

"Eight years ago, on Halloween Night, Mr. Meyers was teaching his apprentice to make sausages," Kim continued and Veronica tilted her head.

"The Sausager's Apprentice?" she asked with a chuckle.

She nodded. "That's right. Apparently, he did something Meyers didn't like." Jack glanced at Veronica who shrugged. "Words were exchanged, and pork started flying, Meyers snapped. Picked up a meat mallet, and when it was over... his apprentice was dead."

"He was dead," Eddie added. "Deader than dead. He was so dead—"

"Okay, thank you, Eddie," Kim interrupted, holding up her hand. "The legend is his headless body still haunts this dojo."

Jack stood up with a sigh. "Stop trying to scare me. It's not gonna happen."

"It's him!" Eddie exclaimed, pointing at a plastic-wrapped person walking towards them. "The Sausager's Apprentice!"

"I'll take care of this," Jack said, taking Eddie's bo-staff and starting to hit him.

Kim shook her head. "What? No, no! Jack, Milton's in there!"

Eddie nodded. "Yeah, see?"

He took off the hood and Milton looked at Jack with an awkward smile. "Boo?"

Jack sighed and took the hood from Eddie. "Goodbye, Milton." He covered his head with the hood and blew at him.

"Ah, Christmas Nuts!" Milton sighed, falling over.
