THE GROUP ALL STOOD IN the bar, playing pool-ball, as Drew took a sip of her drink.

"So what is she like? The sister?" Liv asked, referring to Sam.

"Sam? Oh, Sam is so cool." Chad said, with a dorky smile on his face, which made Drew smile as well.

"Okay. You only say that because she let you wear Pokémon onesies to bed for a year." Mindy chimed in.

"That's true. That's a true statement." Chad smiled.

"But he's really not wrong. Sam's awesome. Shes the one who gave me a sense of confidence and told me to stop letting people walk all over me. She's also the one who taught me how to dye my hair." Drew said.

"And, now every single month, you dye those few streaks in your hair a different color because of her." Sloane said.

"Not just because of her. But, mostly, yeah."

"No, trust me. Sam is not cool. Her dad left her mom, right? Walks right out when Tara's eight, Sam's thirteen." Amber says, as she pours the drink. "Sam started acting out, getting in trouble with the cops. And then, in Sam's eighteenth birthday, she leaves. Ghosts them all. Maybe Sam's changed. I just don't wanna see Tara hurt again."

"Wait, so you're protecting Tara from her own sister now?" Wes questioned.

"Well, someone has to." Amber said, somewhat glaring at him.

"Okay, so no guys are good enough for her, and now her family's off-limits too?" Wes said.

"Motive. If I can't have her, no one can." Mindy said, looking at Wes with a smirk on her face.

"What?"

"We all know you have a crush on Tara." Mindy said to him.

"Okay, come on, Mindy." Florence said, annoyed with her accusations.

"But we're all suspects." Mindy stated, making them all look at each other.

Chad hummed as he raised his glass with a smirk on his face looking at Mindy as she looked at him and then Liv, a bit annoyed.

"Except maybe Liv." Mindy said.

"Thank you." Liv smiled.

"You're way too boring to be a psycho." Mindy said, making Liv's smile immediately fade.

"And what about Garrison? You really think he's physically capable of being a killer? I mean, look at him." Sloane said, gesturing to Garrison, who was clearly offended.

"Excuse me?" Garrison said.

"I'm going to go to the bathroom. I'll be right back." Drew said as she walked off, heading to the bathroom.
