↳ ❝ [Chapter Ten-Change] ¡! ❞
'*•.¸♡ ♡¸.•*'
IT HAD BEEN ABOUT A YEAR since Drew and her friends had gotten attacked by the Ghostface killers, one being Drew and Tara's best friend and the other being Sam's boyfriend. Now, they have all left Woodsboro, as they're staying in New York, as Tara and her friends go to college, while Sam has a new roommate, Quinn.
Now, ever since the first attack, Drew had done everything in her power to make sure she'd be ready or be prepared in case another attack happened, even though she could just easily be doing this to avoid her own anxiety. Drew's been taking martial arts lessons, and she's spent more time in the gym than she normally would.
She's toughened up since the last time, but that doesn't mean she's suddenly invincible, as the memories of the past year still haunt her. She hasn't really slept well since, due to nightmares and overall paranoia. And, her anxiety has gotten worse, as for a while, just the sound of a phone ringing could send her into a blind state of panic, to a point where she had to keep her phone on vibrate for a months until her anxiety got better.
But, despite all of this, she's been keeping up this tough facade, which has become more and more easy to see through. But, she's carrying it on as much as she can.
Drew, Sloane, Tara and their new friends, Fawn and Zayani, sat in the kitchen, eating breakfast at the table, as the TV played in the background, while Mindy and her new girlfriend, Anika were laying on the couch, watching the TV.
They had met Zayani in their film study class. She was a huge hopeless romantic and she's a very sweet person, which they found shocking, considering her upbringing. Not many people could say that they were almost killed by their own older sister, but Zayani sure could.
And, they had met Fawn due to her being one of their roommates as well. Now, Fawn wasn't the smartest at all. But she was still quite the good friend. She might be a bit slow in the head, but she still cared for others.
And here they all were in the kitchen, talking about some weird guy in their film studies class. His name was Jason. He was pretty weird guy and he looked like he still slept on his mother's couch. He didn't give off good vibes in the slightest, so, when he attempted to smooth talk Drew into going out on a date with him, it's no surprise that Drew gave him the most quick, honest and direct answer possible; "No."
"So, I heard that Jason guy tried to ask you out on a date?" Tara asked Drew. "Is it true?"
Drew squeezed her eyes shut, as she grimaced at just the memory of it. "Unfortunately, yes. It's true."
"Oh my gosh. How did it go?" Sloane asked.
"I rejected him, obviously. I simply just told him, he's not my type."
"Yeah, what exactly is your type?" Fawn asked.
"Not Jason." Drew simply answered, making Tara laugh a little bit.
"So, you still carry on the heartbreaker thing from Woodsboro to New York?" Tara said.
"Of course. I mean, New York is a much bigger place than Woodsboro. Which means there's a much bigger population of people, meaning there's also a much bigger population of shitty guys. And shitty girls. Meaning, I'd have much more of a reason to be skeptical of people who ask me out here than I did in Woodsboro." Drew explained, as she stood up, putting her dishes in the sink.
