[Chapter Twenty-One-Happy Birthday] ¡!

'*•.¸ ¸.•*'

THE OTHERS HAD BEEN WORKING on decorating the apartment, as Sam stood on a ladder, hanging up a banner reading 'Happy Birthday, Drew!', while Danny stood on a ladder across from her, helping her by hanging up the other side of the banner, while Sloane watched them, and criticized.

"Hmm, okay, Danny, a little bit more to the left." Sloane said, as he did what she suggested, but she still didn't seem satisfied. "Okay, Sam, a little bit more to the right." Sam did as she said as she turned back to Sloane.

"How's that?" She asked.

"Eh, almost. Just a few more inches to the right for you, Sam, and a few more inches to the left for you, Danny." She spoke.

They adjusted it, just as she said, a proud smile grew on her face, as she gave them a double thumbs-up and a nod. "Perfect."

Kit, Tara and Zayani were preparing the snacks, as Zayani set down the chips while Tara and Kit grabbed all of the different sauces and dips.

"So, we're going with nachos, right?" Zayani asked Sam, for clarification.

"Yes. Nachos, Drew's favorite." Sam clarified as Zayani nodded in understanding as she continued to prepare the food with Kit and Tara before Chad and Mindy entered the apartment, as Chad was carrying the cake in his hands, as he set the box down on the table.

"We got the cake!" Chad informed the others, a proud smile on his face, as he opened the box, revealing the red and white heart shaped cake, that had the candles circling around it, as the letters 'Happy Birthday, Drew!' written on it in red icing.

"You got the right flavor, right?" Sam asked him and Mindy.

"Yeah, of course!" Mindy said. "Red velvet. Drew's favorite cake."

"Which, I really don't understand, because she doesn't like chocolate cake at all, even though red velvet is literally the same thing with red dye." Chad pointed out. "But, you know, everyone has their own tastes!"

Tara had checked her phone, as she had gotten a notification saying Drew had texted her.

Drew: I'm on my way back.

"Guys, she's on her way back!" Tara informed them, causing them immediately start rushing to hide all of the tools and equipment they used to decorate the place, as Sloane and Tara began turning off all the lights in the house.

DREW ENTERED THE APARTMENT, taking off her coat and hung it on the rack, as she looked around, seeing how it was completely quiet and all of the lights were turned off, much to her confusion.

"Guys?" She called out, only to get know response, causing her to sigh, as she went over and turned on of the lights.

As soon as she flipped the light switch, they all came out of the hiding places and yelled in unison;

"SURPRISE!"

Drew was obviously caught off guard by this, as she had gasped slightly at the sudden noise before catching her breath as a shocked smile grew on her face. "What? Guys, you threw me a party?"
