The Rift

You were asleep in your dorm, mind full of what Mr. Hassel had told you and Arven about his family history. But as you were sleeping, you hear a strange noise outside. It woke you up. You sat up in bed and looked outside. Right before your eyes, you see, in the sky, what looked like a rift. Much like the one in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. That's when you grabbed your phone and called Arven.

"Arven, are you seeing this right now?" you asked. "Yeah," Arven said through the phone, "it's just like in the game! Are we gonna be sucked through that or something? Is somebody or something gonna come out of it?" "I don't know for sure," you said, "though we'll probably find out tomorrow. We may end up in Hisui or those clan and team folks may come to us. Who knows?" "Yeah, we'll see what happens," Arven says, "anyway, goodnight." "Goodnight." you sat back before the call ends and go right back to sleep.

The next morning, you wake up to some breaking news on your Rotom phone.

"Witnesses all over Paldea have noticed a strange hole in the sky. It somehow had appeared overnight since everyone around had noticed it the minute they woke up. In other news, townsfolk in Levincia had found four people unconscious on the beach: two men and two women. They appeared to be wearing what looked like ancient clothing. The four people are currently being hospitalized."

You were mind-blown. Just then, you heard a knock at your door. You get up and rush to the door to answer. Arven was there, wide-eyed. "(Y/N), thank Arceus you're up! Did you see the news?" he asks. "Yes I did!" you said. "It's those clan leaders and team members! They're here in Paldea! And from many years ago! Oh my gosh, how would Mr. Hassel react when he hears his ancestor is here?" "That's a darn good question!" you said.

Both you and Arven went to go get dressed, gather your backpacks and rush out the school building and make way to Levincia.
