As soon as I open my eyes, I push up from my seat and rush to his hospital room. I don't mind the stiffness of my neck from falling asleep on a waiting room chair. The first thing I see is Myles sitting at the edge of his bed, a gauze bandage wrapped around his left hand. I let out a breath as I walk up to him, "Are your parents here yet? Nurse told me they'd call them."

Instead of answering Myles stands up and throws his arms around me. "Sorry for putting you into this situation" He apologizes, but he has no reason to, the accident wasn't his fault. I'm not blaming him.

The other driver played a big part in it.

"It was an accident, It's not your fault. We just wanted to have fun" I say, wrapping my arms around him. He sighs and lets go of me. "Are you alright?"

"Yeah. I got a small concussion and sprained my wrist, besides that I'm good" And before he can say anything else, the door to a room opens and in walk a tall dark haired man, who I assume is his dad, and a young woman who doesn't look much over thirty, followed by a woman who looks exactly like a female version of Myles.

The man's gray eyes land on me, serious expression on his face, "And you are?"

I would be lying if I said he wasn't good looking, no wonder this woman is clinging to him, he has a sexy car and reeks of money from far away. Face of a model and body of someone who has never had a lazy day in his life.

Before I can open my mouth to answer, Myles beats me to it. "This is Alexandra, the one I told you was in a car with me"

Looks like his parents already know what happened.

"Right, I'm Josh, Myles' father" his dad extends his hand towards me, I shake it,

"Nice to meet you" Yeah, very nice, amazing circumstances and all. Your son didn't totally almost die, driving me to some hideaway, making our escape from the town.

"Madelaine, his mom" The female version of Myles says, starting to pull me into a hug. Long black hair pulled into low ponytail, her blue eyes shining. Not having expected the hug, I stand there my hands on my sides for a moment, before hugging her back, patting her back awkwardly.

"You two, I need to talk to you later." Josh says, pointing between me and Myles. I look at Myles, he looks back at me, apathetic but knowing look on his face. He knows something I don't.

"Yeah, sure" I respond, since Myles didn't seem on planning to speak up.

The sun is coming's up, peeking between the blinds. I couldn't stop my gaze from travelling to Myles, the accident replaying in my spiralling mind.

I ended up sleeping at of one the guest bedrooms at Myles' dads' house, since it was still pretty early in the morning, so I thought better of it, than to go back home. Myles' dad gave us some lecture like speech, telling us about being responsible.

When I woke up, Josh and the woman, I now know as Michelle, were already out of the house, so I told Myles I would check up on him later and fled home. Though I texted Myles on Saturday night and again on Sunday to make sure his concussion is fine and to ask him how he was, his responses were short. He's been ignoring me.

Feeling someone stand above me, I open my eyes to see frowning Myles. It's been days since Saturday, when I last saw him.

"Yeah?" I ask, since he's staying quiet, just standing there. "You good?" I cock an eyebrow at him.
