Myles June 22nd

Alexandra whips her head up noticing me walk into the kitchen. "Morning"

"Hey" I say, as I sit down across from her behind the kitchen island on one of the bar stools.

She pushes a plate toward be, filled with pancakes, and then a water and an advil. "Take these, you look dead." I feel dead.

"You made me breakfast?" I smirk, taking a drink from the water bottle.

"So wifey, right?" she asks, looking back down to her phone.

"It is." I nod, starting to devour the food. "Thanks"

"No one else was here, so I took the chance and occupied the kitchen. I'm so loving I know, no need to start crying and kneeling"

She looks like last night had no affect on her, she just looks tired like you do in the mornings. The lucky one. I hate her for that.

"What the fuck is that? I didn't see it the last time I was here" Alex drawls and picks my girl up. She looks at me for approval, I nod. "How long have you played?" she asks.

We finished breakfast and now we headed to my room, so we could move on with our day. I plan to sleep my day away, my head is killing me, I don't know about her.

"A little over a two years" I got this specific one over a year ago and I have been playing it since then, learning. Though I can play the regular guitar too. I like the electric guitar more, it's more my kind.

"Can I?" she asks, putting the strap over her head.

"Go on, be gentle with her."

She scoffs, "Her" skimming her fingers over the guitar strings. "Does she have a name?"

"Actually, no, she doesn't" I say. I haven't found a right name yet, the one I like the best. Nothing just seems fitting, nothing feels right.

She falls into a thought, then she looks at me, a smug but indifferent expression at her face.

"Alexandra is the name then." Alexandra states.

Wait, I like that.

"Alexandra" I say, trying it out on my tongue. "Alexandra" I repeat, liking the name. "I'll think about it" I won't. I already decided. My girl is Alexandra. I almost snort at the thought how it sound like I'll be calling my friend 'my girl'.

"You should try it out sometimes, thinking, yeah" she sasses. I throw a pillow at her. She's always at it, sending sappy or sarcastic comments your way. I kind of love it.

"Play me something" Alex takes the strap off from around her, reaching the guitar my way.

"Some other time, Alex" I say, taking the instrument from her. I'm not feeling too confident in playing something the whole way through yet.

"I'll hold you to it" she raises her eyebrows at me, sitting down on my table chair.

"Are you free tomorrow?" I question, looking up from my phone. Davian's text just came through.

"Probably, why?" she questions, spinning in the spinning chair.

"We have plans then. We're meeting Davian." I offer.

I don't really know many people here in Waverly, I have a few acquaintances I met last summer at this party and we hung out a bit, didn't keep in touch much and haven't met up this summer yet. I met Alexandra, she seems nice, somewhat. I mean she isn't annoying to be around. Davian was one of these guys I have met, he's too extroverted to begin with, but he's genuine, a trustworthy one, as much as I know him.
