Chapter 13- I can't believe I had crush on a monster like him

Alexandra July 7th

"Who's house even is that?" Myles asks as we are walking up to the front door.

"I believe her name was Violet or something like that?" Lucas says, fixing his hair.

"And how do you know her? Do you even know her?" I ask.

Lucas convinced me and Myles to some guy's party, though I'm leaving tomorrow morning, I agreed to go.

"She was next to our room in some guy Greg's house with their friends and we basically got that far that they invited me. Said that pretty much anyone is invited who's interested."

Of course he befriended some random the second day he's in Waverly.

Some guy almost falls into me as we make our way farther into the house.

He mutters some incoherent sorrys as he gains his balance again and walks away.
I could swear I have seen him before, but it's not the first time I see someone from my hometown in other side of the country. That's just creepy and I hate that.

"Same as last time?" Myles questions, gesturing towards the bottles on the counter.

"You remember? You were far too gone last time." I was pretty sure he had some serious issues first time we went out together, and he was drinking them away. He was tolerable enough besides that to make me stick around.

He narrows his eye in response, already pouring the drink into the cup. "Shots first, ladies!" Lucas chimes in, three shot glasses ready and filled.

"As you wish" We down them. A hand lands on my shoulder, I turn around to see Inez grinning back at me,

"Alex! Oh my God! You're here!" Her arms wrap around my shoulders. I hug her back,

"Hey, Inez!"

"Alex! Myles!" Davian is heard, I let go of Inez and am engulfed by Davian next, "It's good to see you again!"

"Davian!" I acknowledge him, letting go and taking a sip. "Steven, hi!" I raise my cup at him, nodding. "No lovebirds?" I ask, referring to Connor and Bree.

"Not today!" Inez comes back to stand next to me, pouring herself a drink. "Anyways, we're dancing tonight, you and me!" She states.

"Never planned not to" I smile at her. I was gonna force the guys to come to dance with me, I ain't doing that alone, but now that Inez and the band are here, I have nothing against going with Inez.

Inez takes my hand, "Let's go! I want you to meet someone!" I look over my shoulder and wave to Lucas and Myles to let them know that I'm going with her and that I didn't get snatched by some creep.

She brings me to living room of the house, near the couch are standing a three girls and Inez brings me to them.
A blondie introduces herself as Alexia, the tall one with black long hair is Marie and the brunette is Aria.

If I didn't know any better, I would be scared of them, I have seen them around with big group.

If it weren't for Alexia grinning the whole time and being a ball of sunshine, I would have been intimidated by them and fled sooner.

I do my best to participate in their conversation and not come off as too quiet. As I feel the need to run off, Inez drags me to the dance floor.

Fifth song in, I get the feeling like something is going terribly wrong. I don't know what to blame it on, my gut or the booze, so I look around and see Lucas absolutely having the time of his life, dancing with two guys, jumping around, their laughter is heard over the people singing along.
