Myles July 15th
Alex's place next to me is empty when I finally open my eyes.
I stretch my arms above my head, feeling a light wind blowing in from the window and I internally thank the God, or whoever opened it since I remember damn well, I forgot to open the window last night.
Now I don't have to die from the suffocation of no air. Al fell asleep in my arms and there was no way I was to stand up and leave her for a fucking window.
I sit up and see Lucas also gone from across the room, he isn't exactly an early bird, so there must be something.
I step out of the shower and after brushing my teeth, I head downstairs.
The kitchen is empty of people, but through the window, I see my grandparents, mom and Dean sitting on the garden chairs and drinking, I assume, coffee. It's nine in the morning, but the sun is high up and beaming. The picture in front of me, frankly, is beautiful.
I take myself a cold water, before I'm on my way, in search of Alex and my dear brother. I find them in a living-room, watching 'Up'.
Lucas in sitting in front of the couch, knees to his chest as he's bawling his eyes out. I snort a laugh at that. Alexandra is on the couch, hugging a pillow to her as she, also, has tears streaming down her face. I chuckle at the view, which catches their attention as I stand in the doorway.
Such a lovely Saturday morning. The duo is up early to cry their eyes out.
Summer goals.
I plop down on a couch, caressing the back of Alex's head with my fingers. She turns away from me, pressing her face into the couch cushion. I offer her my water; she can have it.
"Have you guys eaten already?" I ask.
"No" Alex wipes her tears away and sits back up straight. "Wanna be our servant?"
"For the show you gave me, sure" I smirk, referring to the crying session I walked into.
She scoffs at that. I stand up and they follow me to the kitchen. Being the generous young man I am, I make them pancakes, going out of my way to make separate blueberry and chocolate ones.
I hear the backdoor opening, second later my mother peeks into the kitchen. "Oh, hi! Morning, guys!"
"Morning mom!"
"Morning, Mads"
"Oh, dear, are you making food?" she asks me. I look at her, questioning myself if she is serious.
I blink. "What does it look like, mom?"
"Oh, don't be so rude, Myles" she scolds.
I sigh, she was the one to ask so dumb of a question. I go back to flipping a pancake, as she leaves the room after refilling her mug."We should go to the town today. What cha' think, Alex? Wanna see around here?" Lucas proposes, looking up from his phone to Alexandra.
"Is there anything going on or just hanging around?"
"Not sure, just hanging" he shrugs. "Myles?"
I don't see a problem here. "Yeah, sure"
I serve us breakfast and make tea per Alexandra's request. We enjoy the food and discuss where to go. We already have planned that we're leaving Ferrany tomorrow morning, so we need to make the best of our time, plus, it's Alex's first time here, so she's delighted to see the town, and later, the beach again.

We're taking bikes instead of mom's car, she insisted we don't waste the gas. I let Alex take my mother's bike, me and Lucas already have our own here.
