"9-1-1, what's your emergency?"

"My daughter fell into the sewers!"

"Where are you, Ma'am?"

"We're at the William Steinmetz park! She fell through a manhole, send someone quickly! She can't swim!"

"How old is your daughter, Ma'am?"

"Eight!"

EMMA

"Alright, we've got an eight year old girl trapped underground in the sewage system," Bobby explained loudly as we all followed behind him into the park. "Her mom said she fell in through a manhole while running around and there has been no word from her since. The city had been contacted to turn off the water through the pipes but there's no guarantee they were shut off in time."

"How long has she been down there?" Hen asked, carrying her medical kit with her.

"According to dispatch, roughly ten minutes so we need to work fast," Bobby sped up as an emotional woman came into sight, crouched down beside a manhole with her hand stuck down it, a small crowd formed around her. "Ma'am, are you the victim's mother?"

The woman looked up at us, pulling her arm out quickly to rub her eyes and stand up, "I am, yes, please help her!"

"We're going to do our best, I need you to explain what happened to me clearly," Bobby placed his hand on her shoulder, guiding her back from the manhole.

"I don't know! One minute she was running around and the next she just fell through the ground! I tried calling to her but she didn't respond!"

"Okay, Ma'am, I need you to take a step back so we can work, can you tell me your daughter's name?" Bobby pushed the mother back into Hen who guided her into sitting down.

"Her name is Lily, please find her!"

"Alright, Hen, Chim, take care of the mother, Eddie, Emma, you're with me," Bobby ordered, beckoning us after him. "Is there a park ranger nearby?"

"Here!" A stocky man stumbled out from behind the crowd, a series of maps in his hands, "I'm Eric, I'm in charge here today. I thought you guys might need these so I brought as many as I could find." He shoved the maps in our direction and I took one quickly, scanning the lines on it.

"When was this sewage system built?" I asked, trailing the sewage line with my finger,

"I think some time in the 70s, it was due a renovation but with budget cuts, no one has gotten round to it yet," Eric replied nervously, scratching the back of his neck as it grew red.
