"Let's go catch a killer"
"That's the lamest and most dramatic thing you have ever said," Simon said walking over to a backpack sitting at the leg of the rocking chair, pulling out his laptop
"You got it back".
"Gupta gave it to me yesterday". Simon said sitting at my desk.
"So what's the first step to actually catching a killer". I say leaning against the edge of the table, my legs forming goosebumps at the cold rush of the window not being closed.
"You're asking me as if I have done it before". Simon says flatly.
"Well, you have broke into the school before so.."
"So have you".
Well, Charlie? he's not wrong.
"I feel like Beniot Blanc right now," I say with a smile on my face.
"Oh! And your Marta" I continue.
"First off is anyone us Marta it's you and second do you ever shut up about Knives Out?" Simon says logging into About That.
"Excuse me Rian Johnson created simply the best murder mystery of our generation and gave us the monumental moment of Chris Evans playing his first villain and you what me to shut up about it? not a chance Kelleher".
I notice Simon makes a new post on About That, as I lean in I noticed he is typing about FJs murder.
"Simon, you are a fucking murder suspect and your posting about the murder online?"
"It's school news".
"Your a gossip app, not the school paper" I state.
"Exactly which is why I'm posting it".
"I'm so lost"
"I know what I'm doing".
And in that exact moment, a light flashed on the window, and my laptop lit up with an About That notification.
"Wow, you know for someone that had always hated the app, you do have it on more than 1 device". Simon says smiling at me.
"Shut up". I say opening up the app.
Fjs Murder.
Miserable assholes, I am sure everyone has now heard that our little psycho student FJ was brutally murdered last night. How ironic! The murderous student gets murdered, but the most ironic thing is how even though the killer covered their tracks well, I have just enough evidence on them that their little golden reputation will be ruined especially after they cheated on their chem test.
"So your mysterious plan is to pretend you have evidence on someone, then what?".
"We find the evidence". Simon states clearly, packing up his laptop into his bag.
"And what about when Wheeler and Gupta ask you to hand over the evidence first thing tomorrow". I question also standing up.
"I give it to them".
"And who exactly is this person you want to frame". I question.
"First of all to be able to frame them, we would have to be the killers, so we are merely just throwing the cops off pattern". Simon says slinging his backpack over his shoulder.
"Whatever, who are you trying to prove guilty then"
"You just want to know who cheated on the Chemistry exam". Simon says sitting on the window sill.
