I felt uneasy as I tried pushing past the crowd of people.

I see people drinking, dancing, making out.

I feel so dizzy.

"J-Jacob..." I tried calling, but slurred my words.

I looked around, not seeing him anywhere.

Everything started to look fuzzy.

Then I tripped.

Everything turned black.

That's all I remember.

I sat on my couch, waiting for Cindy to come over.

I didn't get to see her at school, but she said she has to tell me something.

I wonder what it is.

I heard my phone go off. I pulled it out, seeing a text from Huey.

Huey: I need to talk to you.

I looked at the text in confusion, about to respond, but the doorbell rang.

I put my phone down, walking over to answer it. As I opened the door, I saw Cindy.

I smiled. "Hey Cin."

"Aye." She responded with a nod, walking in. I followed her to the couch.

"So, what's up?" I asked, sitting beside her. "Oh! Did you get Jacob's text about the party at Caesar's? Because we should go-"

"Nah. I don't wanna go. Reezy might be there." Cindy said quickly as I looked at her in confusion.

"Why wouldn't you wanna see Riley?"

"I ain't tryna talk 'bout him, aight? I'm here to tell you 'bout McHater."

"What about him?" I asked, even more confused. I then heard my phone ring. We both looked to see it was Huey.

"Hold on, Cin-" "Nah, ion think so!" Cindy grabbed my phone.

"Cindy!" "I ain't gon' let him play you no mo', Jazzy!" She yelled as I looked at her, completely dumbfounded.

"Cindy, I don't understand-"

"He has a girl!"

I instantly froze.

What did she say?

"...What do you mean?" I hesitated.

"McHater been playin' you dis whole time, Jazzy. Since he rejected you. He has a girlfriend in Chicago." Cindy explained as I my eyes widened.

However, I was in denial. "No... No, Cin. You're wrong. Huey... He would've said something."

"Jazzy. Reezy told me." Cindy explained.

"McHater ain't neva went on a debate trip. He went to visit his girl."

I was taken a back at that, as I felt my heart completely sink.

I didn't say anything for a while, processing all of this information.

"...Huey has a girlfriend." I said softly as Cindy sighed. "I'm sorry Jazzy, but I hadda tell you."

I stood up, facing away from her, as I felt my eyes well with tears.

This whole time.

Huey had a girlfriend the whole time.
