"Is everyone in?"
"In!" I smiled, sitting next to Huey in the passenger seat of his truck.
"We're in." I looked back at Caesar, his hand interlocked with Ebony who beamed at him.
"Aye, why we gotta be in da back!" Riley exclaimed, standing up from the very backseat. "Boy, sit down!" Cindy exclaimed in the seat next to him.
Caesar chuckled. "Y'all got in last."
"Yup. You snooze you lose." Ebony giggled.
"Dis is discrimination! Y'all treating us like Rosa Parks!"
"Cindy is white, Riley." Huey quirked his eyebrow.
"...Well, y'all treatin' me like Rosa Parks!"
"Reezy, sit down!" Cindy yanked him down by his collar.
"OW! Baby, ma suit!"
"If you're all finished acting like children, we can leave." Huey rolled his eyes, starting the car.
I smiled happily as we started to drive off.
