Rain's pov:

I crossed my arms over my chest as i watched the scene playing out infront of me.

I was standing near the usual tent at the race venue.

I was standing not too far from where p'Phayu and the other mechanics were working on the bikes.

But the thing that caught my eye is not that. But the fact that there is a new one among them tonight.

Now, i know that shouldn't be something that catches my eye or anything. And it normally wouldn't.

I rarely ever notice newbies among the team since i just focus on p'Phayu.

But tonight, this certain newbie is acting really suspicious.

He's been hanging around p'Phayu way too much.

Getting way too close to him, talking to him way more than necessary, asking him about every little thing.

And p'Phayu doesn't seem to notice it.

He's just brushing him off and answering the questions he asks. He hasn't made any move to actively tell the guy to back off or anything.

I don't usually go into that area since i don't want to disturb their work. I know p'Phayu won't get mad or anything if i do go there, but i just prefer to leave them to their work.

But tonight, if this keeps on going, and he doesn't stop getting so close to him, i will go there.

"That new one has been getting awfully close to p'Phayu, hasn't he?" Sky's voice came from beside me.

"Mhm." I nodded.

"Doesn't look like p'Phayu has noticed since he seems to be concentrating on his work." He muttered.

"No, he hasn't. He barely ever notices anything around him when he's absorbed in his work." I sighed.

"You going to do something about it?" He looked at me.

"If he doesn't stop soon, yes." I replied.

Of course he didn't stop.

He went from getting too close to actually putting his hands on his back and arm.

P'Phayu seemed to finally notice it at that point and pushed him away.

I decided i had enough when he didn't get the clue even then and kept getting close.

I could tell p'Phayu was also starting to get irritated at that point.

I strode upto p'Phayu, wrapping my arms around him from the side, taking both of them by surprise.

I glared at the newbie as i pressed myself against p'Phayu's side.

"Who are you?" He frowned.

"His boyfriend." I replied in a flat tone.

He blinked, obviously surprised.

"He's been ignoring you and pushing you away all night. Get the clue already." I growled out.

P'Phayu snaked an arm around my waist and pulled me closer.

He scoffed and turned around, walking away.

I looked at p'Phayu who was looking at me with a grin on his face.

"Possessive, are we?" He chuckled.
